It will be a Termi clone for sure!

all he will need is a windage tray

?

windage tray goes in the oil pan. keeps oil and air from flying around in there. cuts down on foaming and such.

The Mark pan will fit if you get a aftermarket K-member. Does the 2v pan hold the same amount of oil?. The 2v pickup won't fit the 96-98 Marks oil pump unless you tear the front end a part and put a 2v oil pump on it.But remember you got two more cams to feed oil too and the iron block can get away with the 2v pump because it's bearing clearances don't change as much as the aluminum block.Ford put the 4V pump on all aluminum blocks since 95 for a reason.

its the only difference from a 2v mustang oil pan and a 4v cobra pan

The windage tray bolts onto the mains and has nothing to do with the oil pan.Like I said the Mark and Cobra pans have crank scrapers and baffles the 2V pan does not have those features.

Caught my eye first, but that is a big gap between the door and fender. =/ Anyhow, seems everybody has pretty much covered it. I would suggest getting a Ford Racing high volume oil pump or a Gen 2 one. If you get the Ford Racing one, the pickup tube that comes with it, wont let the oil pan bolt up, so then you will need a Gen 2 pickup tube. Now, I believe some gen 1's came with the both the high volume pickup, and cobra oil pump, but I forget what years, but I know gen 2's have them. Bigger heads, with 16 more lifters, and 16 more rockers arms, need more oil. Wouldn't hurt to have the block checked out, and get everything balanced. Stock GT wiring harness, ecu, injectors, will work. Pretty much everything, from the heads up on a Mark engine, is what you need. Two, or three sensors need to be extended, iac, tps, and maybe something else? Have to check over it again and see. Reverse the polarity on the cops also, and also on the alternator. Also, IMRC deletes will be needed, or a window switch to keep the Mark VIII ones. Mark VIII throttle cable is also need I believe, or Cobra. COP valve covers, dohc timing chain cover, fuel rail. That's all I can think of right now. Brother is doing the same swap, but going forced induction. I myself may buy a Mustang (sure you seen the thread) and actually swap a 5.4 2v in it, pretty easy swap I hear. Best of Luck!

Thanks dude. As for the door gap? There is none. The former owner put one of those black door protector's on the edges of the doors for whatever reason. All that's coming off.

We're still searching high/low for a donor car. We want the whole car, not just some random motor with god knows how much mileage or abuse. We want a motor that we can start & listen to.

UPDATE: She's home! Donor car found.

She's a "Presidential Edition" Mark VIII with original 115k on the clock. I know it's original because I drove her from the place we bought it to my stepfather's house (91 miles) at 75-90 mph all the way & she ran like a true champion. It was the last run in her life & she let me know she is good for another 100k. She ran just as smooth as my prairie tan '97. I was shocked. Aesthetically, She's seen way better days in her life. Many of her parts will live on in our Marks. DO NOT PM me at this time for parts. I will be parting her out but in July. The drive train needs to be pulled out from her then she will be cleaned thoroughly before we part her out. :)

Anyway, here's a couple pictures for your amusement. ENJOY!

The Mustang starts coming apart tomorrow but we have horrible weather heading this way for the rest of the week so chances are were not touching these cars for another 6-8 days.

Lol Awesome! no pm's fine, but can i atleast call dibs on that chrome grille? it looks really good and i have been thinking about just replacing the chrome trim on my 97 (grille and headlight trim) instead of repainting the fron like an LSC, sorry to hijack your thread. Good luck with the mustang, you gonna swap a cobra intake and headers on that engine before it goes in that sn95 or leave it as is ?

sweet! you gonna swap the IRS over too? that would be cool.

Guys it's not fair to others to start calling dibs right now. Sorry. I promise I WILL be parting out the car & be prepared because everything will be cheap but as of now, NOTHING is for sale.

As for the IRS? Don't think so. I'm going to need that myself for a future project.

Yes..... Its actually more than ugly... But hence the name donor... The presidential editon mark 8 engine will go in the barn find mustang....

By the way, very important. I forgot to mention that this car was made possible by Mr. "98cobraLSC" aka Robert. Thanks for finding this gem. Robert, the car isn't as bad as you think. It's just DIRTY!!! I plan on cleaning the hel outta the car so you see how it was actually in great shape before we part it out. I need to literally get a bucket with water & heavy duty soap so I can clean the interior but it's just stains from years of not cleaning the car.

Thanks alex.... Let me know when to come over and help you... I have detailed cars since i was 15... I have all the stuff to make it real nice.... You saw what my car looks like inside... I use the same stuff on it...

I could not believe how good the car runs... Not even a shake.... Cant wait till the lincoln stang VIII comes alive.....

lol.... The MARKSTANG..... That's her name now.... I like it... Maybe we start a trend...
