She has that twinkle in her eye. Lookin good.

@Bigrig, that first pic looks like you dipped your car into some chrome it looks sweet.

Maybe that is what the 2025 Lincoln LS will look like lol

Wheres the chrome piece in the lower grille? and did you switch the non LSE grille

Lol don't you remember telling me not to plasti dip my grille? But yeah I plasti dipped both grilles. I'm thinking about taking it off though. I just can't decide if I like it more or less with the dip. That's the beauty of the stuff though. I can take it off/put it back on on a whim

It would be alot better if it was gloss black. IMO.

So Fresh, So Clean

I finally got a chance to get some pictures after detailing last week. Here's what I've done:
  • Wash with degreaser to remove old wax and sap (previous owner obviously parked under a tree; lots of little sap dots all over the car)
  • Clay
  • Polish with Menzerna P0106FA using a Porter Cable 7424 with black CCS pad. I couldn't get any good before/after pictures because the swirls don't really show up that easily on this paint. However, they did dull the surface significantly. This mild polish/pad combo didn't remove all the swirls/scratches, but it did bring out the shine considerably. It still doesn't shine like my last car (non-metallic black), but it also doesn't show scratches or dirt as easily.
  • Wipe down with IPA to remove any residue.
  • Zaino: Z-5, Z-2, Z-CS, and Z-8 after washing.
  • Wheels and chrome were treated with Z-CS.

I bought the car in February, but this is the first chance I've had to give it a full detail. A car doesn't really feel like it's "mine" until I've done a detail like this. It's a bonding experience.

Enough blabber. On with the pics!

I especially love the way this color looks in morning/evening sunlight.

Those look very nice Jolinc. I think that was a great trade for both of you. Both wheels look great where they are now. Yours look better on your silver LS than they did on Rollins red LS, IMO and Rollins car is very nice with the Sentas on it. Good trade both ways!

i agree. i think both cars look better this way.

Yeah, I was not a fan of the chrome on the red, it just doesn't look right. But they seem to look rather good on the silver
