Official Stack Murder Mark Progress Thread!!!

ohhhhh i get soooo jealous, i need a gear head close by before I simply bust!!!

looks like a great project can't wait to see the outcome Kupie!!

ponies he is my buddy that i work with i was bustin his balls, stick weld as in Arc weld, i was being sarcastic you would never weld on a car with an Arc welder lol!!

actually tig welding body panels especially something that thin would cause more warping then mig welding.....tig creates more heat in one concentrated area.....

True... but mig welding creates very hard welds, and when you are welding such thin stuff with too thick of wire you don't get a very good weld...

Tig would be much better...

BTW just got back from picking up his new wheels :D

brandon use your brain and put some .023 wire in it , not even .025 find some .023 if you want to weld some nice welds on thin sheetmetal with little warpage. trust me! done too much of it to not know what i am talking about. usually homedepot carries 2 lbs rolls of .023
are you used 75/25 or flux core, please i hope you have gas on that wire!!

let him try it if he screws up I have a L and a R door I will sell him
not a spot rust on them

Such a spoiler Brandon! LOL!

I did get a ridiculous deal on those wheels...

20x8.5 and 20x10's with 255/35 and 275/35's with a 05+ Mustang Bolt pattern and offset...

the tires are still at 95% and the wheels are pretty damn immaculate

Paid 800 bucks

That 2010 GT500 was gorgeous

Sometimes you get a chance to meet some cool people in this hobby :)
