Painting CDC mesh onyx chrome or powder coat?

I left it at the shop before with a lady. Her manager wasn't in so she couldn't tell me pricing. I asked her to get me pricing on powder coated gloss black and onyx chrome. She called me like 2 hours after and I told her onyx, so the answer on here helped a lot.

Thanks guys.

Oh and yeah, my ls is paid off. My dad paid for half as a really late graduation gift and I paid for the other half. I got her for 12k

Sweet.

Im down to $8,500 right now. I plan on having it paid in about a year and a half.

You have 2 06's?! You, your wife, and daughter all have an ls?! Thats awesome!

My little girl has my "old" 2000 (180K miles and still runs strong!) and my wife and I have '06s. My wife had an '01 that we traded-in on her '06. In December '05 we got $10K for the '01 V6 with ~65K miles and got the '06 for $39K out the door. X-Plan is grand! We paid ~$17K out the door for my '06 in '09 with ~32K miles.

How long is it gonna take for the grille to be done?

Now ya see I think colors like Onyx or black chrome would should up more prominently on a Mclaren grille or a LSE, but i am curious about the CDC.

Hmmmm...

I'm not fan about CDC mesh grill but Onyx would look great but I prefer Mclaren grill..

I'm just the opposite, I think that CDC grill is absolutely the best. Slick, sophisticated. Really perfect. I will be interested to see the Onyx chrome, it should be nails.

The grille was suppose to take like 5 business days so finished by next week, BUT, I worked my magic and they work on it right away  . It was done this morning but I didn’t get it though because I was at work when they called, I almost left just to see it. I'll get it tom morning and I get my car back this Sunday too!!!!!!!

The bad part is that I wasn't able to do any of my planned mods to the car since it was gone since I got out of school. The good part is that I still have a week before I go back so I'll have to get busy!

Snaped two quick pictures. It came out real nice, very shiny. It looks sick.

Yeah proved me wrong, I dont think powder coated black would shine like that. Onyx was definitely the way to go.
