Waiting Room

I don't know where to find them or if they make some compatible for the LS, but on my old car I had these dust covers that you could put in between the wheel and the brakes that prevented any dust from ever touching the rim.

yeah they sell them at the dealer a lot, but they look bad and alot of people have modded the brakes for looks, so that would hide them, maybe someone should make clear plastic ones or something, but they would get hot and melt

True that, guess you have to decide which is more imporant to you, the appearance of your calipers or your rims :)

Am I the only one that's upset when it rains? It makes my black LS all nasty looking :(

I'm not upset when it rains. I'm upset when it dries up. I like my cars like I like my women.

this was the culprit... looked for it on ebay couldn't find it so i resorted to the stealership, and they lived up to their name... flat out high way robbery... on the other hand it would have looked ghetto trying to pry open the latch with the a flathead

Maybe because your username is the name of a transformer "soundwave" pretty sure he is an autobot haha

I wish I knew more about audio and electronics. I only really know the mechanical stuff when it comes to my ls.

Anybody doing fantasy football this year?
My league had our draft last night. My team doesn't seem too shabby.

So it's been 2 weeks since I last washed my wheels due to all the rain we've been having.. My fronts were still nice and clean thanks to the FK1000p sealant, rears not so much.. I f*cking hate brake dust  For some reason, my rear pads dust a LOT whereas the fronts don't at all. I have Wagner ThermoQuiet pads (semi-metallic) all around. Perhaps the fronts have some ceramic element in them. Either way, enough is enough. I will be buying some Akebono Euros for the rear sometime soon. Sick and tired of this s*it.

I feel that dude, my front rims appear gunmetal at the moment... I'm not sure what kind of pads are on there (since I havent changed them since buying from the dealer) but holy hell not going with those again

Started my final year of college yesterday.

Just think of all the money to spend on the LS once I get a big boy job

You too? Started last Tuesday. I'm looking forward to next summer, planning to land a bigguns and get the 06' swap done. Yay school!

Sounds like we have similar plans.

If my pay is big enough I'll probably just buy an '06 so my '02 has a playmate.

I am so sick of school by now it's not even funny.

Good luck with your last year bro!

Haha same here. Need to pay off the debt and find my humble abode first.

I took a year off to co-op, this first weeks been...you guessed it...brutal.

Good luck to you sir. 'Njoy!

Lol hate you guys. I have an associates but just started working on my bachelors (around 8-12 classes needed). Can not WAIT to be done and get a turbo on my LS :p What are you guys working towards? Computer Systems Technology here

Design Engineering Technology. Following graduation I'll be looking into the automotive industry brining me back home to the great state of Michigan or orthopedics leaving me in the oh so lovely city of Warsaw, IN. (It really isn't that lovely). It doesn't end there, following that I'm looking to pursue my MBA, MS in Leadership, or BS in Mechanical Engineering. Why you hatin'?

I'm pretty sure a am skipping my morning classes tomorrow already LOL

I am a geography/environmental studies major. I would love an outdoors job, which is mostly why I picked my area of study. My main goal is to get a nice government job for either EPA, DEP, or DCNR.

Lol because I want to be that close to done. Ill most likely be done in two years, gotta keep working full time :( Yeah I hope to continue on to get a masters eventually but I just have one goal at the moment, the bachelors.

And yeah dude, come back to MI. Best state in the union ;p

I have a buddy who works in Ann Arbor for the government doing environment stuff... lol thats how far my knowledge of what he does goes. I think its for the DNR (Department of Natural Resources)?

Help one of your LVC buddies out and tell him to get me a job! Haha

If I were to skip my class tomorrow, I'd be the laziest POS alive. 11am will come too fast though.
