Honestly who just sits there and honks when a vehicle is coming at them in their lane?? I know I GTFO the way when I'm in those situations. Anyways, carry on all is well here.

Just joined 1130cc.com. Anyone else on here ride? I'm looking to get on a VRSC next spring.

I have for years... in between bikes now. I'd love to get back out there soon though... sigh

Sold my last bike about 5 years ago now. I still miss it every summer. It was a yellow/black 02 ZX6R, with a Muzzy slip on, it only had 800 miles on it when I bought it in 04.

Liked the show. Then I moved back home and lost my Netflix.

Actually just watched a Family Guy episode that made it sound like everyone who watches it is obligated to tell their friends about it lol

Seriously how I feel lol. First show I've been into since The Sopranos.

Any guitar players out there? I'm considering taking it up.......

Anyone looking for a different spin on Metallica, like it was needed, check out Iron Horse Bluegrass on YouTube.

Ive played all sorts of strings for about 12 or so years now, guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin...my step father used to teach guitar and music theory and i picked up on it, not so much the theory but the music...been through many phases, Blues are what im into playing now...if you have the want/will/ability to learn, i would suggest it

Thanks. My only concern is my small hands; thumb tip to pinky tip is only about 7" and my pinky is a scant 2" long! I'm looking at a Yamaha FGX700SC. I want to get an acoustic electric as I don't want to have to buy another guitar as I progress. I am aware that this will be a long process and patience and perseverance are the keys.

I really don't trust the magazines anymore because they can be so biased. The LS is far better than most of the reviews say it is. I think the reviewers had it in for Ford because they came out with a product that was far better than what they were telling the readers Ford could ever produce.

So, I bought the guitar sooner than I thought I would. I found a really good deal on eBay that Guitar Center was happy to match. He even commented that it was an excellent deal (Yamaha FGX700SC, stand and gig bag for $269.99)! Amazingly enough I got it for that price, tax included! So basically I got everything for ~$250! Not bad for a $300 guitar.

Man, oh man...... Have I got some work to do! I need to teach my wrist and fingers to move in ways they have never moved! Every instructional video I've watched says to practice 10 minutes a day. I can get about 5 before my wrist starts killing me; my fingers don't feel so hot either. I've been trying to get 5 minutes about 3 times these last 2 days. Even though I only have about 30 minutes experience I feel I am making some progress.

This should be fun!
