Waiting Room

I went and saw #6 by myself(happens) in theaters,
midway through, I literately started to nod off and by the end of the movie, I simply just wanted my Fn money back.

I had such high hopes for it to! Will most likely see #7 as buddy crashed and passed. Tribute kinda thing

Probably gonna go cry in a crowded theater, BRB

Yeah saw the previews on a TV in a US truck stop the other day, I'm gonna go see it for sure, when it hits theaters. Sure I'll end up owning the DVD or torrent download eventually.

~ On another note, just got back late last night, another eventful rounder to GA and back with a bit of Montreal, QC trailer shunt for some additional miles to finish the week. Got detoured off I-81S down in VA due to a fatal which had it all shut down. Hate seeing stuff like that, someone didn't make it home, heard over the radio a four-wheeler(car) and semi got tangled up. Not good!

Oh and the new trucks are in the yard all decal'ed up w/ many goodies installed, just needs tags and assignment, should hopefully be in one next week.

Really loving this new gig, good $$$ and great trucking in the USA, sunny weather is what I was looking for, and is what I got!

Searching headlights and this came up ... not that I had any objections!

Double jointed knees. My daughter can do the same with her elbows, looks weird when she stretches her arms. It looks like they're both broken at the elbow because they bend almost 30 degrees in the wrong direction.

That girl in the picture can probably cross her legs behind her head. :p

... and we would like to see her do it.

Little signage humor rolling into TN on I-75N out of GA

You southern folk have a real serious problem with driving while cell attached to head.

Actually in the waiting room.

Left caliper, rotor and brake hose. $300. They said the lugnuts I brought them are to deep to seat correctly. Grrrrr. Oh well.

Too deep or too shallow? I can see too shallow being a problem but if they're deeper than the studs are long, that's how they are supposed to be.

The Sebring/Galant lugs are very close to going through the wheel and hitting the disc, meaning it tightens against the disc, leaving the rim loose. IIRC the first [documented] Sebring covnersion had to file down the nuts a bit to work. Something like 1 turn's worth. I counted the turns to the disc when I converted and found I had room for 1 more turn beyond the rim before hitting the disc.

On that note, after less than 1 year, my chrome Dorman Sebring nuts are disgustingly orange with rust.

I keep an original lug on my desk to remind me of the the good times fixing my LS.

Well. The dakota took a ****. Probably looking at a radiator. I knew it needed valve cover gaskets and maybe manifold gaskets. It was over heating. Hope it isn't some major ish. I had to go talking a couple weeks ago how it's a work horse and running strong. They always make a freagin liar out of you. Bastard.

So, while I applaud some originality, does anyone else see this as astheticaly pleasing? Am I the only one that thinks this fabricated side skirt looks like a wooden 4x4 post? This guy is on the Facebook page talking about he is putting these on because he is putting a turbo on his LS and it just makes sense, goes with the turbo theme. I don't get it.

that must be a city boy thing, cause out here in the country, we usually only put running boards on our diesel trucks.

There's 1000 wrongs with that picture, like the chrome eyelids, the wheels, the grille, the side-skirts, etc etc etc

I thought they looked nice for the given style. But damn it Izzy, now I can't unsee the 4x4 post look. And those aren't chrome eyelids. That's just eye liner. I'll hold my judgment for when its painted. Not my style though. Maybe it'll be a rear mount turbo, so the skirts will remind him to watch out for bumps and debris

my only hope is that mess in front of the car is the engine that has just blown...
