What did you do to your LS today?

Also my driver side rear map light is bbeing weird. I guess a loose wire or connection is causing it from working properly. If u have any info on how to fix that...id love u guys forever lol. There is one wire I can wiggle n it lights up but if moved it cuts off n doesnt work :(

Installed the rear map leds..floor board leds..new reverse leds...trunk led...tryna figure out how to put in the 2 front map leds n tryna figure out to get the darn bulb out of the glove box to put the new leds in :( so if u have any links showing or explaining how for 2006 with a sunroof...hook me up plzzzz hahaa!

Unscrew the visors then pull the ceiling down, it's just velcro holding it up... for the glove box you need some tiny hands

G I like what you did to your LS today! Thanks for sharing!

Looks like a recent pic due to the new rear glass spoiler, why were you not able to put the rear plate back on evenly.
The trunk is ajar most likely cuz your sub box it too tall?

Thanks... :shifty:

Thanks man...Im back at it trying to see how I can get to the other screw on each visor. Scared to try & change it with only 1 screw out on each side. As far as the glove box I have no idea how someone even with tiny hands can grip the bulb enough to pull put  lol! Its like that black casing around it covers too much of the bulb to get a grip. Ahhhhh! Shoot me now lol!

I removed the glove box plastic to get at the light.

Trying it now...tryna figure out how to remove that string holding the left lil piece so I can drop it down a lil more to get to bottom screws easier. Thanks again guys

Quickly polished the headlights. They weren't really bad, but it looks better. Ignore the dried polish in the bumper, I'll get around to it.

Finished wiring the amp, and second trunk light with LEDs and hooked up jumper cable hook-up. Heading to brother's tomorrow to attempt to be the Bob Vila of MDF on his table saw. Also, installed a couple interior LEDs, attacking the tougher ones tomorrow as well.

Restored my headlights. Sealed with minwax+mineral spirits coating.

Tomorrow: degas bottle. Next weekend: fogs (they need restoring again, it has been 3y).

Sh1t those look good! What did you use to apply the mix? microfiber? I've been thinking about using one of those round microfiber pads.

I used a blue shop towel (Scott brand) Mel. Folded it up into a rectangle about 0.75" wide. Dipped it into the mix, and wiped onto lens with light pressure form one side to the other, overlapping each pass. Next time I think I would go top-bottom, makes it easier not to miss a spot.

Someone should try Optimum's Opti-Lens: http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-opti-lens-headlight-coating.html Very expensive though, and it doesn't fill in the scratches so the lens must be buffed prior to application.

Finished revising the subwoofer enclosure and gave 'er a bath to end the night.

Helped Jjcool00 change out his front struts this weekend. Its hard to explain how sexy the 19" volvo wheels look on the LS. Its like they're meant to be.

Snapped a couple of sh1tty pics:

If it's got T!ts or Tires, it's gonna need maintenance.

Not going to get into it but pretty much had to do one strut saturday then the other on sunday, burned my entire weekend and Mlara's because of her.

She doesn't make sandwiches, usually keeps them busy for a little while.

Degas done, fairly easy job IMO, except I got some coolant onto the belt. Next project might be belt, tensioner and idler pulley.

Scraped some mud off the back of my wheels as it was vibrating real bad on the way to work. Chalk this up as one unforeseen advantage of 20" wheels. Who here has had to do this? I doubt it but I hope this is the reason my car was vibrating ever so slightly prior to this weekend.

I have problems with small rocks in my treads causing vibrations. I'm constantly picking them out. I never drive through mud, but I'm sure it would have the same effect.
