What did you do to your LS today?

actually, the glossifier (to achieve a gloss look) require a heavy (wet) even coat to work. which can be difficult to achieve without running, with it being lighter (in weight) then the other dips...

....although you need to start with a few light coats... your last ones will need to be heavy...

G Rell is right , wet heavy coats gives the glossy look while light dusting will give u a satin finish and might give you texture , just saw the new video fonzie put up about applying glossifier correctly

That may be true. I didn't use to much but it maybe more than I thought it was to be considered as "a heavy coat"

I finally did my Power steering fluid flush and hydraulic fan fluid flush in hopes it will help fan last longer

The only thing I was able to do to my LS, like almost every other day, is wish I was home to drive her. And buy things to do to her when I get home.

had my drilled/slotted rotors turned and slapped on some raybestos ceramics. not sure if these rotors have been turned before (didnt measure them nor have i looked up specs on original thickness yet) but I appear to be suffering from heat "growth" and the edges of my passanger front slightly rub when the brakes are applied. I ended up moddifing the caliper slide clip and used a dremmel to cut off the tab that extends down in between the caliper where the edges of the rotor want to rub. took care of most of the scraping but i still hear a little bit. prob going to see if I can re adjust the caliper back a little and gett thet 1 or 2 mm I need to finally clear altogether.

overall, now that i have properly bedded pads, she doesnt "squeal like a pig" every time I slow down.

(and I do understand that simply replacing the rotors will solve the scrapig, just a matter of time and more $!)

UPDATE: turned out to be a spring clip bent down that was making the final scraping noise. Replaced with a good one.... now she is STEALTHY quiet!

haha well he won ******* of the week lol, should have asked here first before doing that :p

Lol I know right. I should've came to the more experienced guys, I know now and I just joined the dip forum for a back up.

some goo offf will take it off , i plasti dipped a rim and cleared it and came out like it was powder coated , then i used goo off to take it all off
