Replaced 8 cops and plugs. You guys were right, that driver side nut is a PITA. Worse yet I realized I didn't have a 7mm deep socket after I got the intake and cowl off so I went inside, tossed my linc' keys on the hook and grabbed keys for my mustang. Drove to the store, bought my socket, got home...realized I my house key was on the linc' set. Locked my dumb ass outside. Good news is it gave me a couple hours to work on the car :lol:
That said: Cleared up a little stumble and smoothed out the idle. Haven't driven enough to see any effect on gas mileage yet. All the cops were yellow tagged except for the #2 well which had a black tag. Looks like the previous owner replaced one coil and called it a day. Oh well...all done now

from an 02 sport, tried for a relative new looking upper arm with ball joint but she turned on me.
It was gutted pretty good already, clockspring, degas, fuel pumps missing. Was wrecked hard front & underneath.
Grabbed what I could because it's so cheap there. The whole sunroof w/motor and rack was only 24.99CDN
Had the stock rear subs and amp in the back still. Didn't bother with it.

Replaced bad o2 sensors, should get better gas mileage

Finally warming up a bit here in KY... decided to give plasti dip a try finally so I bought some and started with my grill and then moved after I decided I liked it I also did some interior pieces (wood grain) and did the eyelids... All turned out pretty good. Also took off all the chrome pieces on my wheels. Looks much better now. Still need to take all the door panels off and do the wood grain on them and then do the chrome trim around the windows but I'll save that for this week. Time to relax and spend some time with the wife and little girl...
I'm really loving the ls. Needs a new iac though. Have to get that soon. It's going bad. Any comments or suggestions are welcome...

Thanks man... I agree. The LS is the first black car I've owned. Always had bright white before but I'm digging the blacked out look.

I'm liking the plasti dip... I'm going to get a gun and some gallons and then try to do the entire car. Just to see if I can do it. May do matte white or black. The glossifier is tough to get right. Can't let it run at all. But if I get good at it I may start dipping cars around here. There isn't anybody doing it around here to my knowledge. Good weekend side job.

I like change and it will be nice to change the look of the car every 6 months or so. Same for the wife's car... I dipped her rims today also.

Started up my car and white smoke poofed out my exhaust tips. 3rd time it's done this :/ This time it Def had a weird smell. It only has 50k miles. Blaaahhh! Hope nothing serious.
How cold is it there? How long did the car sit?

First time it sat at work for about 8-9 hours. Temp was prolly around 35-45. Today it happened after sitting 4 days and was around 60-70 degrees. Then waited and started like 1 hour or less later and smoked again with poof/puff of white smoke that just drifts away and had a weird smell. Kinda fumey smell I guess. Other times I didn't smell anything. It's Def thicker smoke than just a warm exhaust air on a cold day. I kept reading about gasket leaks and some other can seals going bad. Hopefully this ain't the problem lol

If it had a smell like a charcoal grill with too much fluid that kinda burns your eyes, it's running rich. If it has an odd sweetish smell,
then it's burning antifreeze which means it's time to start planning some serious work in the immediate future.

Lolll the pic. Never smelt any sweet antifreeze through exhaust or anywhere. It more of a old burnt oily smell mixed with rich exhaust fumes. But I'm gonna step out real quick to start her up and see if it does it again and take a wiff of it to be sure lol!
