The mental might get to list is even longer - spray the Volvo center caps and put Lincoln emblems on, angel eyes the headlights, plastidip the winter wheels, lower the car on eibachs, etc etc etc
 
Took her on a hot date to dinner, movie, and ice cream.

The ladies love the LS.

Someone new. I am officially back in the dating game. A little rusty to say the least.

The LS accompanied us so it was a threeway date.

I put "baby" in the corner. Working on her new "high beams". Show them off next weekend.
 
Ordered new clockspring and rearview mirror, I'd like to put my foot in the arse of the previous owner, man they really neglected this LS, but it made its way to a good home so all is well.
 
Not 30 minutes ago, after a 25 min trek to find 93 octane w/o ethanol. I was approached by a 28 yr old brunette named Jennifer. She looked hot but dirty and scruffy, she had a cute 9 yr old daughter in tow and was driving a 80's Pontiac station wagon. she told me that her mom kept her IRS return and they needed a place to stay and a bath. OK, I had a CC card and $100 bill. I used my card for my gas which I set on auto while I went inside to break the 100. The nice Honduran la\dy couldnt break it so I asked JENNIFER to follow me to somewhere I couldbreak it; I was gonna give her 20. I zipped up the LS glanced at the pump and it said $54, and change. I figured it was right and drove off. After talking care of Jennifer and daughter with a 20 and a smile, I looked down and my gas gauge is still on empty. I turned it off then on and its still on empty. I've checked my debit balance online it the purchase doesnt show up yet/ So, either this was a David Blaine gas station, Jennifer stole my gas, or Im a total looser who cant pump gas when confronted with an opening that doesn't come along often. Any suggestion before I try to put another 14 gals in my tank?
 
Here's my take: The $54 is most likely what the person prior to you paid for their gas... I think you probably put the nozzle in, but maybe didn't push start or whatever especially since it's not on ur bank statement. Also I doubt she would've stole your gas.. she would've had to move your car or the hose would've had to have been long enough to reach her car from where your car was and most gas station hoses aren't long enough. I'd go get gas.
 
Thanks, The stole my gas and David Blaine reference were really absurdities, But, Im heading for the dog park and it'll either register or Ill stop but the direction i'm going doesn't have ethanol free so i'm working hard for my baby ( LS) . Ill let you know.

Jennifer could have been the bait for the guy ready on the other side of the pump with another car ... (far fetched, too many cameras not enough balls)

Yummy mommy distractions ... causes men to start thinking with the wrong head .... happens all the time!

... either that or the LS fuel level switch overheated and shorted due to presence of Jennifers' hotness.
 
Today, I got tired of looking at the faded windshield trim on the LS (see first pic). I took both sides off and sanded, primed and painted them gloss black with a clear coat. The third pic is the finished product, well almost finished. I will sand the very small amount of orange peel out of the clear and buff it in the morning. I will post some pictures of them on the car tomorrow. The last pic is of my recently tinted tail lights. I went with a lighter shade but far better quality then the last time.

I am not sure what they used to tint the lights. I had it done at a place called Fluid MotorUnion in Plainfield, IL. What ever they used, it is extremely thick and it is as smooth as glass. By far the best quality I have seen in person. I have another set of taillights that I am going to have them tint and I will ask what they use.
