What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

terry why the :q:q:q:q did you buy a new battery that battery is 3 months old?? and i bought it at autozone, didnt you look at it before you bought another? its their battery they should have replaced it for free but if it was the alt why did you waste money on a battery. i seriously put that battery in the car in december. cost me just over 100 bucks.
 
i washed my 97, ordered a dual gauge pod for it, ordered led's to replace the ones in my gauge cluster, ordering all led's for all the interior lighting. and called presidential detail to have him come tomorrow and give me a price on making my car look like black glass, i'm already puckering my butthole cuz i know what its gonna cost me!!!
 
Wash it, then did an oil change then loaded up the trunk with all my stuff for the gear swap..... then unloaded the trunk after the appointment was delayed. :(
 
I changed the oil today too, some bastard put the filter on so tight that my hand couldn't remove it! I had to get the shank & the hammer out.
 
I re-claimed mine back from the wife!!!! We bought her a 04 Olds Alero so now i get my Mark 8 back!!!! Hellz yeah!!! Damn i have ALOT of work to do on it after she was done with it.
 
Drove mine. :D My son-in-law drove his tonight when we went to eat, so we had our own mini-meet.
 
i went to a salvage yard and took the trunk carpet out of a 98 LSC and installed them in my 93, the one i took out had paint all over it and a few tears in the tire cover from my tool box sliding around in there..the one i have now is near perfect with only a couple of small rust stains where the jack mount bolts to the body, a little Oxy clean so get those out...the new one also has the optional CD changer cover on the passenger side and i scored tire hook and jack mount too, all i have to do now is re-run the wires for my subs to the other side of the car and mount my amp under the cover :)
oh and i got a luggage net in there now too, Bill i got yours in my trunk, all washed and very neat looking :)
 
i put my intech cover on my motor today, then had presidential detail come look it over for a quote. the exterior is getting done monday into tuesday for a tune of about 500 bills. it will look showroom condition by the time its all said and done. i'm gonna be affraid to drive it after that. i spent all day today working on a customers 98 toreador red lsc with an entire front end rebuild, front brakes, oil change, fuel and air filters, spark plugs and detailed the entire motor and bay. over 12 hours of work on it! time for bed.
 
Unpacked my rebuilt compressor/dryer from Eddie @ America Air. Sure is pretty!

Needs washed baaaddd, but the snow is melting and it won't stay clean for long :(
 
I polished my rims and put in a new trans with new Dirty dog valve body and accumulator pistons. SWEET

Why wouldnt you throw a cover or tarp over it??? I cant stand when you live in a nice place and you have to look at an eye sore like that when theres a garage right behind it. Not trying to hate, just saying.
 
I do have it covered with a nice car cover and of course I clean up my driveway and wash away the dirt and stuff after a days work.
It doesnt bug the nieghbors I've talked to them, i just get funny looks from people when theyd rive by and i'm carring a door into my garage.

This is a real nice place and I wouldnt want to upset anyone here.
