What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

ok - when I live in a 1,000,000 home or a 1,000,000,000. home if I can't torq a wrench in my driveway screw the neighbors, I'm buying them out.. (hotie-toy-teee!....) and no, I don't have a couch on my front or back porch.

Honestly, that is the only time I meet my neighbors is when I am wrenching..lol, they either
1- want to watch
2- are curious about what I been banging on, or
3- genuinely wanting to lend a hand...

screw the uppitie up "my mechanic (who either me or my wife is screwing on the side!!!!lol) does all my work...lolol obviously! people....get stinking real!

I'd have to move, or like I said, buy the snots out. People think cause you work on your car your "not up to snuff" - lolol get real - who are they paying double digits to fix theirs to! lolol boners.

I like those rims. It's not the look that everyone else is trying to have. I would take your rims over a set of Cobra R's any day. I just don't like the look of Cobra rims. Between yours and some Speedsters, I would have to think but would most likely go with what you have to be different, other than you. Looks like you do have a little more tire showing than Speedsters would give you.
 
I picked her back up from the body shop todat. :) They removed the last 4 dings on the car and redid the rear bumper. I guess they really laid it on thick where the car sprays rocks so I will see how it turns out after going down my crappy road every day. :(
Then I washed it after getting her home. After that I stood in the car port and stared at it for almost an hour. :lol:
 
is that why you didnt answer the phone? lol, i put in the new trunk latch i got today, and then i broke something on the way home, shes going in the shop tomorrow
its running kinda rough, i seriously think its a vacuum leak but i just dont have the patients to mess with it anymore, im gonna end up beating it to death with a hammer...i need some of that stuff bill :)
oh and i got driver and passenger outter door handles from a Continental, white and chrome, just need to have the white painted blue and ill see how it looks being a lil chrome outside, if i dont like em ill buy more and paint em again

I talked to you when you called. I just now saw your text that said your intake tube is broken open. That will cause it to run like total crap. Duct tape it and see if it runs right. As far as my stuff...... you cant handle my stuff. :p
 
i just gotta stay away from the governmental subliminal messages you watch,,,lol
its already duct-taped, i can hear it sucking air thou..but only at idle and low rpms ( and its kinda shaky) , if i get on it a bit, or WOT, it sounds and acts fine..weird as hell

I loaded my trunk up with the new suspention parts, new front rotors + pads and the trailer hitch. Im heading out to my 10x30 storage unit (i just got today) tomorrow to start installing stuff for the trip to NoLimit95's house.

Thanks man. I have 275s in the back and have had no issues other than when the car is loaded down with the kids and soccer junk (plus all the stereo in the back) and then its only slight rubbage. ;)

Well, I really appreciate that and if I were closer, I'd have already been there. Poor baby she needs the whole deal-e-o though, her top and rear qtrs are peeling like a day three day old sunburn. When I wipe her off it's like she has dandruff...the clear coat just flakes off....Im gonna try to get her done this summer. She just wont stay outta my pocket with mechanical repairs though. She's eaten up half of her painting money this winter.

I need to move..no one her in OH does fun stuff with their Marks, they just drive them into the ground then s-can em....sniff sniff..

hey now... im in the process of hub swapping mine with the cobra brakes put a new cd player in it going to do the sequentials or something similar maybe some white face gauges.... im not going to s-can her anytime soon and shes getting taken off the road in the winters so she can be my summer daily driver... and guess what im in OHIO... lol

I got my trailer hitch installed today, then snapped some of those super flexable vacuum lines under the hood.........then started with the front brakes. Tomorrow should be a fun day too!!
 
Got started on my new front suspension. It's up on stands, tires off, bumper cover and all associated schitt off, pulled the weak/noisy compressor, removed elephant ear and horn, air struts out, and WD'd everything! Gonna WD again before bed and first thing in the morning mop the nasty WD garage floor :(

I put Eddie's rebuilt compressor/dryer on my bracket tonight so I can say I actually completed something!

I also wish to thank whoever created Ibuprophen as it will be my new best friend this weekend! I'm to old for this schitt :eek:.
 
Machme - Those lights came out of an aftermarket LED tailight frame, like you can get anywhere. I removed the led light strip from the frame, tossed the frame, and wired the LED strip into the socket were the old bulb was. I used the two screw holes from the old bulb holder to mount the strip. Easy, and to me looks great with the red neon above it. ;)
 
I watched a worthless fat chick text as she plowed into the back of mine today. :) :mad:
