Finally bought a sheet of mdf for my 18's. Surprisingly, the kid cut my wood almost perfectly. So that's getting built this weekend.

bilstien shocks, stock ride height in the rear.
with the rear bilstiens i can't sit low enough to rub even if i vent all the air out.
but even with the stock shocks, it only rubbed a little til i pulled out the little black fender edge, that cured 90% of it.
where was rub,on the inside or outside? im planning on 18x19 rear 18x9 up front i know 36mm backspacing is the norm for these but ith my coilovers with 1" drop ive got plenty of room with a 27" tall 255 55 16.the 295 40's are the same height which is what i was planning on as the rears have a 'deep dish' look but will not extend past fender.275 40--10" tread 4.3" sidewall,295 40 11.6" tread 4.6"side if my math is right.
Got my new blend door actuator in! Previous owners suck - the guy tried, somehow, to fix the split by shoving some styrofoam there!
He what
Rotated my tires yesterday. Greased my upper ball joints (didn't make much difference with the p/s though since the boot is cracked to heck), sway bar links, and tie rod ends. Sprayed the front and rear air springs with silicone spray. Found a couple of pinhole leaks on my d/s rear springs. Silicone lubed all the rubber bushings in the front and rear suspension. Even with all the greasing and silicone spray, I still have a metallic scraping sound coming from my front p/s. It sounds like it's coming from behind the brake. It's not the upper ball joint. I don't think it's the lower ball joint since the grease boot is intact. It sounds like the brake dust shield is scraping against something, but I can't figure out what. It's a sheet metal type sound. I just can't figure it out. It's driving me in-frakkin-sane!!!!
It look's small cause it is. Built to JL spec @ 1.75cf per.
Trans dipstick o-ring?
Heard you should wrap some teflon tape around the threads when replaceing said unit.. Not sure if you did that or not.
