What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

On a side note...how many chivers are there here on LVC?? I rely on the chive to get through my day.

As many times as he's sent me PMs regarding my wheels.. he better be serious... or Ban!

I lost count of how many times K-FAN PM'd me about a "strut conversion" and various other parts and never sent any money. Then there were the air shocks and VCRM that he wanted over 2 years ago. I was stupid enough to actually buy them for him at the junkyard after he swore up and down that he would actually send money this time....

Yup, nothing but BS when dealing with him. He never buys what he bugs you about and eats up your work time setting up appointments and having you bump someone else to a latter date only to never show or call.

Lol, I'm getting the relocation brackets for the rears so I can run the Cobra rotors on the back too. They look so tiny and pathetic now

smooth move....shows off those big rotors that don't stop any quicker
Now there is a post that makes no sense. They are FAR superior to the Mark brakes. When I did my conversion the car could haul itself down so fast you would get nauseous. And do it repeatedly from tripple digit speeds.

Hes dropping sarcasm about a post made by Spree in the brake thread

still need to rebuild the rears calps, then swap spindles and knuckles w/ 5x4.5'' and add 17'' Cobra's

My new air springs, struts, shocks....what ever you want to call them! Have proven themselves over the years! (about 5 now I think or more, with the front so far, and compressor) and I can still pull the receipt (dealer installed). But I know when the back's go bad it will be OEM 1st (me installed!) After that who knows! Gotta go with the best the 1st time! If they cost a little more then there worth, then it'll be worth it to me! Gotta see how far this car will go! When she die's I guess you guy's will get a lot of parts that are OEM for cheap! Because she will be parted here on LVC! But I don't think that will ever happen. Gotta keep her running! No if's, and's or but's...I'm gonna go with the best until she die's! I know I got more in her then she's worth but....WTF!!! To late to turn back now...

factory front brakes vs 13'' upgraded fronts

what year did Fomoco stop making 'new' air shocks for Mark VIII's?

Sapper, you need a new sig pic now. I like both wheels really. The black ones are more open and look good but the chrome looked good too and were something that nobody else has. How much you want for the chrome ones. Send me a PM when you get time and include $18 shipping on each wheel. Well, an Octi is around $16 each through USPS

I'm asking for $200 for the chrome ones.

Well the car didn't make the banging noise up front on the way home from work last night. But I did take an alternate route that didn't have any bridges or railroad tracks :D But she's parked for the time being. I'm driving the Cougie for a little while until I can figure this mess out. It would be my luck a fargin' ball joint would pop out on me on the way to work on the twisty back road doing 60mph in a sharp left hander...
