Yeah seriously? I would deff say I ain't paying for what you cant figure out or the time it took your certified guys to do it.
about to go pick up a 97. belongs to relative. power steering went out, sideswiped a car. both wheels point outward at the same time.
insurance ruled it a total loss. gonna figure out what happened and put the car back together.
its a shame though. was a $3k or better car. clean body, 50k miles. no lasagna. looks like insurance is gonna pay out around 3600.
pics to come later. possibly a rebuild thread too.
someone stole the friggin battery out of it at the body shop. jesus christ.
That right there is pretty horrible.
Kinda like when I got my first Mark VIII back in '04. Took it for alignment and they said UCA was bad so I told them to replace it. Charged me $120 some odd bucks for the new upper not including installation or anythingThat right there is pretty horrible.
On a much more horrible note, got a call from the stealership today and they said the PCM is bad on the Cobra and they were going to order one and it was going to cost between $500 and $800 bicks After uttering several obscenities at him I told him that he better not order a damn thing without my authorization and that price was fvcking stupid! Now I'm even more pissed. I'm gonna check fleabay for a PCM and fix the damn thing myself before I (edit: oops...forgot...my future ex is paying for it) pay that kind of money. Dammit dammit dammit dammit..........
i talked to the owner of the body shop. he said he would buy a replacement for us.
this body shop is supposed to be the best in the area. that's why i was so pissed the battery was gone. replaced with some POS napa thing installed wrong.
when all else fails, blame the PCM? problem is, if you do the swap yourself, and it still doesn't start, you're back to nowheresvilleThat right there is pretty horrible.

get underthere and clean it up while you're waitingThe White One has been on stands for a long time now;I'm still waiting on the front end suspension parts, so today I will again do nothing to my Mark VIII; great way to spend my day off
