What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

Installed the other NIB corner lens to match the drivers side today. Now all lenses, housings across the front are all new. I'm glad this addiction to new lenses can only go so far because this is getting expensive. Well, it was but I'm done now. I think it was worth it where others might not. We all have different ways we mod our cars. :)

Went to put gas in the '97 LSC yesterday and the little metal strip that pops the fuel door open broke off! Now I have to open the trunk, pull the release cable and hold it while I open the fuel door. Dangit! If if ain't one thing, it's ten others!!!

Fix the button on the door panel! Lol I need to do that too...I've got fuel doors , and sylenoids...lemme know
 
Washed and waxed my new 97 LSC that I bought 10/30/10 yesterday and she looks good after sitting at the junk yard got her for 1500 and with 105k miles ill get pics up tonight or tomorrow

My wife cleaned out her '97 LSC yesterday and I didn't even start the '96. I should be getting my new Arnott front air spring/shock for the LSC tomorrow. I work the late shift tomorrow so I'll probably get it installed Saturday. Then I'll get the other side done next month.
 
Washed and waxed/sealed the Green Machine with Zaino Z2Pro. she looks like glass. almost. love that stuff. it lasts all winter.
 
Will a gen 2 rear axel work in a gen 1? My wife killed her gen 2 wrecked it and it has a 4.10 gear. I want to swap if possible.I see on this forum from time to time Marks with a cowl induction hood I want one,new used or otherwise.today I replaced my gen 2 drivers door handle, I made a real ordeal out of it. took much longer than I thought, but it turned out good no scratches. Thanks for any thoughts you have on my rear axel swap and hood hunt. George

My cars blower is loving this 36* dry air! Picked up over 1 more lb of boost and the car pulls like a freight train! Even with the added boost the cars computer is still adding another 5* timing. Great fun. :D
 
Actually did something productive this week end...

I actually got 4 new tires, unfortunatly, there cheap as hell but better then slipping on the smallest amount of wet road surface... the other tires I burned out in 50K miles in 1 year. these are rated for All weather and 70K. well see how long they last, and oh yea finally got the new TRW/MOOG lower control arms in too. got the alignment dead on, I still have a bit of a rattle in the front think it may be the sway bar links or the uppers but they look good to the eye.
I will just have to assume there bad and get new ones as the ones on there are a year old but cheap brand as I didnt have the cash to buy Moog at the time..

and washed it. cleaned the painted calipers...

Time to do the brother in laws brakes now.. he's got issues! Chevy BOY!
 
picked up a mass air flow sensor from a guy stripping a 93..so far so good.
 
took it to the car wash yesterday love going out of the car wash drive way side ways. Went to grandpa's today noticed it was starting kind of slow went to start a couple of hours later, and dead.
