I ran against a Magnum with the 5.7 hemi last month. I have 4.10's, exhaust, and a j-mod. I ran a 14.4 and he ran a 15.1. A mark 8 with just gears should be able to take a 5.7 hemi.

Just about an entire day. Support the engine with an engine hoist. Undo the k-member bolts and tranny crossmember bolts. Drop the subframe and lower the engine enough to take off the exhaust manifolds and motor mounts. If you do this, and you plan on changing the front sway bar, DO IT NOW...

I just used the polyurethane spring isolator on the bottom of the springs. I am using Eibach lowering springs. With the isolator, the ride height is just about perfect. The top of the rear fender arch is about 1/2" above the top of the tire (stock tire size)

Sounds like I have about the same mods as BlackMark8Li. 4.10's, Kooks headers, 2.5" exhaust, SCT flash. I'm expecting to run low 14's. I'll post number when I get them.

You just need to add headers, and a cobra intake. Then get a tune.

There are 7 people signed up on speedhut's site for the Gen 2 gauges. Are the poeple who gave money to Eric (I was one) part of that list? Or is there a seperate list of people who gave the $20 to Eric. Can we get everybody in one combined list to clear up some confusion?

If you want adjustability, you can always go with Koni's. They are expensive though.

Every mark 8 owner that I know that went with 3.73's said they should have gone with 4.10's. Every mark 8 owner that I know (including me) that has 4.10's loves them. I figure that if you are going to spend the money for gears, do it right the first time and go with 4.10's.

How did they get a picture of my car? That picture is from the first day I brought my car home on Oct 5, 1999.
