Ls manual shift for sale. Very very nice

The car now has a stock fan system. 3500$ seems more realistic after I've done some research. Lol I'd pay more IMHO. Its a very nice ride. Limo tint. Near perfect tan leather interior. All power features work. Car needs nothing. A set of plugs, battery and an alignment is the routine...

Ls manual shift for sale. Very very nice

Electric fan conversion. Autozone parts. Have receipt and warrenty. The fan does stay on a few minutes after you shut the car off. It did fine in Miami weather and traffic in mid march. I admit...I was nervous about this setup but it has held up good so far. I choose the autozone fan and...

    2000 Ls tc info needed

Ow yeah...tear it to pieces lol. I can't ever recall getting a used motor with a good op gasket. Id bet it probably leaks already anyways....so sealing it with gasket gunk (properly) would be doing the buyer a favor, if the motor is sellable that is.

    2000 Ls tc info needed

Lol I would just remove the pan to figure it out...but that may not be ideal for you...Again I have a 5speed, but I'd at least look thru that inspection cover to see if you can grab them thru there. Do you need an oil pan gasket or in using a different motor, why not pull the pan. I'll tell...

    v6 fan system opinions desired

I'm bout to just buy parts cars and Gove up on individual parts. The autos are a dime a dozen, and I'm thinking my new motor has a bad headgasket, I bought from a reputable yard and they are gonna stand behind it, God it's a lot of work tho. Autozone...I bought and installed fan early today, no...

    v6 fan system opinions desired

No. There is little support, venture into the unknown, that I have found. I spoke from personal experience, every time someone like Joegr or someone else gives me hope, you step in. Maybe in time I will retract my statement. Actually, I probably won't, I will continue to thank those for help...

    v6 fan system opinions desired

Big rig...you are an example of my statement. I'm not bashing, but to read and talk about a lincoln where else would I go, or anyone go, I will continue to ask for advice, whether I listen, I'm torn and need insight, I will continue to speak my mind on here, you do not need to listen, about a...

    00 ls v6 coolant issue

Keep your junk away from me and my horse. Egr...like breathing your own farts.(the plug term was a simple statement) 1, carbon doesn't ignite well. 2, exhaust gases are hot, cold air is better 3, it's ugly and rusty Cons.. Need a tuner. Pollution, Idk about that...as there are catalytic...

    v6 fan system opinions desired

I'm doing a electric fan conversion and was hoping to gain some insight. It seems like the ls electric fan has a high draw and run rate. Leading to fried parts or a custom circuit board. The flexalite 183 appears to be the best choice, low amp high cfms. I understand the v6 ls needs around...

    00 ls v6 coolant issue

Yeah...I wouldn't give up a manual ls. More people see Jesus than a manual lincoln. Once you tear into what the car is...You'll get 250 hp outta it. Minor mods, Turner, etc. I just bought a motor for 600$. They are around. Manuals are different than autos. You will have to adjust a few things...

    Advice? V6 pulleys messing around

I tried taurus camshaft for water pump on the rear, won't work. Period. So i shaved the mounting tabs of the spring loaded tensioner, so I can rotate it manually. Apply attention with a pry bar then tighten, like the older tensioner setups on a lot of vehicles. I'm considering either using...

    Advice? V6 pulleys messing around

It's taking forever for my new motor to arrive so I playing around with the pulleys and accessories. I've been wanting to remove the hydraulic fan and a.c. system, I'm way up north and it is a 5 sp, both the a.c. and fan system seems to have tons of serious leaks anyway. I noticed you...

    Timing a 3.0 ls yr 2000

Don't have to remove oil pan to do timing. Yeah...I found a sh*t ton wrong. I'm going with a used motor. I got tons of parts now lol. I get machine shop labor dirt cheap. I'm going to give him a call and see if he is busy, I doubt he wants a basket case. I got leaky valves and I'm not dealing...

    Timing a 3.0 ls yr 2000

I hold no grudges. That was actually the conclusion I was coming to. I did the way I was supposed to when I removed it then right? Put crank key way at 9. Counted links. Marked cam pulleys and chain, noted cam lob locations for added measures. I did read multiple crank key locations in...

    Timing a 3.0 ls yr 2000

Identical part number..easy to crossreferance...i just looked up interchange. The issue isn't the block, it's timing. I was just informing....a taurus bottom end is the same, and doesn't have the stinking lincoln price tag. Ignore the taurus part. The freeze plug Listed as 1.5 in for Both motors...

    Timing a 3.0 ls yr 2000

I went to get a freeze plug. Manual list all freeze plugs at 1.5 in. Mine was 35mm. I don't trust a manual on these v6s. They are NOT accurate. Can someone please chime in on this.

    Timing a 3.0 ls yr 2000

Ls4me, thanks for the reply. I'm using a taurus block as a replacement. There are a million differences motor to motor, especially when considering year to year on top of that. once the heads and stuff are off, it comes down to a freeze plug. The coolant passage is on the rear of the taurus block...
