Here is my problem, I have replaced my alternator with a NAPA unit. My original alternator was dead, I had it rebuilt and was getting over 16V out of it which was way to high. I decided to get one from NAPA and it is charging at the normal 14.5 volts. However I noticed as I am driving especially...
Actually you are right I was able to find a block diagram off all least likely places, Autozone!! It seems the gen2 is like the gen1 in that respect and I do not have HID's so no relays. If you could send me the diagrams for the gen2 I would appreciate it as it looks probably the same as gen 1.
I'm very surprised to see this because every car I have seen that uses a computer to interact with the headlamps will use a relay in the fuse box. The FEM does have an internal switch such as a transistor type device to control I would think for an external relay coil, that relay is usually what...
Well a scan of the FEM is where I got the fault for headlight low-beam circuit fault. I thought there was a relay that the FEM controls for the lights themselves?? Also is there a grounding point I should be looking for that deals more with the headlight circuit??? I was getting high voltage of...
Does anyone have the lighting circuit diagram for an 2002 LS V8?? I was getting a bunch of bulb out messages on the message center when driving at night. However all the lights were working. I was able to read the control module with my friends scan tool and it said "low beam headlight circuit...
Anyone?? I noticed that I get the tail light out problem only at night, and last night I got a left turn lamp out reading but as soon as I activated the working turn lamp the error went away. So far I seem to have these issues when the lights are on. So maybee I'm gettin closer??
Well here it goes, I had a bad alternator I had it rebuilt and istalled it. I was getting over 16 volts out of the rebuilt one. I put in a new alternator and was getting the 14.5 which is normal. However it then shot back up to 16 volts for a few seconds and then went back to normal and has been...
OK, so I have the battery light come on a year after I replaced the alternator which was from Autozone. I had a well know rebuilder check it out and he said the coill and regulator were pretty much toast. He also stated to check the batterty because the alternator was so toasted. I put in the...
I was working on my car and had to remove it in an emergency situation. However my Air flow sensor wire was disconnected and triggered the check engine light. I have to get the car inspected and thats the only code I see with the scanner and all emmission monitors are in a passed state. I don't...
I have the 1/2 inch tool, it's the plastic claw version that should work, I assume I close it over the fitting and push the protuding part of the tool into the fitting??? Cause i was trying that and couldn't get it to release I didn't wanna push too hard, I'm just looking for clarification.
OK, i know you need a special tool to release the fuel line and I have it, however it's not blue but it is green and it is for 1/2 fuel lines as I have an 02 V8 LS. However I cannot get the line to release is there a trick, I know the use of the tool should be pretty straight forward but I don't...
