When someone tries to characterize someone else's actions, the conversation has reduced itself beyond any possibility of communication. May I suggest we just drop it for now? It's becoming too 'school-yardish'.

No, he made the false assertion that millions do mistakenly believe about Enoch,Moses, and Elijah. I don't think it's juvenile to point out that Jesus NEVER lied. don-ohio :)^)
 
Trying to wade through this and here are a few thoughts which may have already been discussed...

Moses died; Duet 34:5...

Enoch didn't die... " Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away."; Gen 5:24

Elijah didn't die... " When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind...); 2 Kings 2:1

If Yeshua EVER lied about ANYTHING He is completely disqualified as the ultimate sacrifice for our rebellion.

The tetragrammaton isn't a name. It's more of a description. Think of a triangle. Does the whole thing ring or only one side when any leg is struck? GOD (which also is NOT his name) told Moses to tell the peeps "I AM WHO I SAY I AM" sent him. Also, people get too wrapped up on this "chosen people" thing. All it means is the Jews were the race of people that would produce Messiah. Why the Jews??? IMHO, the Old Covenant explains it nicely. They were the only people group that remained faithful to the Creator. Remember, Noah and Adam were alive at the same time! Albeit not for long and I'm pretty sure they never knew each other.

We Westerners suffer from a nit-picking type of Bible reading. The Bible was written by, and mostly for, Middle Easterners. They think more in terms of ideas and not so much words. The original writings had no punctuation (like we know it) and wasn't broken up into chapter and verses. Those were added later for us to find specific sections. They didn't have things like italics or exclamation "characters" to make a point noteworthy. That's why we read over and over things like truly, truly (no pun intended!). We Westerners tend to suffer from paralysis by analysis!!

As for our country's founding, see America's Godly Heritage. Jefferson was seriously misquoted in the Treaty of Tripoli. This stupid separation rubbish is a myth. The 1st Amendment is about a State run church, like The Church of England (required membership).

Just some rambling thoughts that may have already been covered...

Now pay particular attention to Isaiah 54:5 use of God's name(Tetragrammaton deleted in favor of LORD by KJ Bible translators). `For your Grand Maker is your husbandly owner,Yahweh of armies BEING HIS NAME.'
Also,Noah was born in 2970 b.c., about 125 yrs. AFTER Adam's death.Their lives did not intersect.

My error about Adam & Noah.... I was thinking something else... Though Seth and Noah overlap...

So you're saying Yeshua is equal with the Father??? You still need to stop thinking like a westerner and start thinking like a middle easterner...
 
Your analysis is spot-on. But there are those among us who try, by focusing on tiny details and strident voices, to achieve aggrandizement. I have to tell you, that in regard to most such arcane details, I don't care since such things have very little to do with my daily life.

In regard to punctuation, "Let's eat children" and "Let's eat, children"... You take my meaning, I'm sure.

You must not be reading my posts if you think I make Yeshua,which is translated Joshua or Jesus, EQUAL to God. Jesus is God's son,as he plainly tried to tell us. The other posters believe Jesus is equal to Yahweh. don-ohio :)^)

So even your own Watchtower society... says the the word Tetragrammaton,,, is a representation of GOD's Name >>> "YHWH".

So again... what LS4 said was correct!!!

Show me where you answered about KINGS and CHRONICLES Don. You said "NO" about Revelation,,, but I don't recall you answering about Kings and Chronicles,,, unless is was mixed in with a response to someone else. Maybe I overlooked it.

You said "No"... but never defined in which way you meant "No". Overlapping... or chronologically?????????????????????????????
