Omg...I wouldn't use wheels that ugly even as a spare

Ive got some 10 spokes with slightly less than perfect chrome,
Great candidates for winter wheels $100

yup hub swapped or id put my old 10 spokes on. and id rather crush my car than ever rum mustang rims of any kind so these will have to do. plus i think they look a little better purple than they did black. might get a spider cap for them and some trim rings but i dont know

Some custom hubcaps that show the center, but make it look like you have white walls!

Im holding 17psi on my coolant system and it's not dropping any, there's no drips anywhere...and yes I've checked EVERYTHING including the heater hoses and heater core itself, pulled the plugs and everything looks good, started it up and bagged the exhaust, no moisture...
I'm losing about 1/4 gallon a week.. Only thing I can think of is that my coolant bottle cap isn't sealing

i would bet on it being a water pump

Noticed this morning that I have a high beam HID trying to go out. I got behind a black SUV and could see the reflection of my headlights. The hi on the p/s was out. But when I got to work and parked the car, it was working:confused: Maybe loose connection. When it stops raining, I'll check it out. Funny thing is there was no light out warning on the message display.

If it warms up correctly w/ very little to no discoloration i'm pretty sure it was prob a electrical fart. I could be wrong though. Just opserve it the next couple days. Might be time to convert it.

These are the hi beams. I converted them from halogen to HID a few months ago. The original low beam HID's are working perfectly. I got one of those cheap $35 kits off ebay. Two 35 watt, 5000k HID's. I probably need to check my connections. It has been raining a LOT lately. Maybe some moisture got in there.

Got my remote oil cooler setup in yesterday, pics to come. Dropped the Mark off at my buddies detail shop for a complete detail inside with carpet and leather treatment. He's doing some minor chip repair on the exterior along with a buff and wax. Detailing the rims and exhaust tips along with the engine bay. Looking forward to picking it up later today

Gottcha, I misunderstood.

My a/m low beam kit does the same thing once and a while, but I usually get a messege. I turn the autolamp on/off and it usually fixes it. Moisture is a possibilty aswell.

p.s. You should turn your hi beams off when behind people ;)

Thanks. I'll try that. And check my connections.

Oh yeah!:) I usually do. This was about 0800 this morning so it wasn't completely dark. And honestly, I had forgotten to dim them.

got my carback with no issues, he tried to over bill for 500 for misc. ithreatened him with channel 7 coming to do an interview on why they're taking advantage of the handicapped and handed him a business card from howard finklestein, their lawer, and he immediately took it off and offered a free dyno which im doing next week. hit the limiter at around 130, found the program to remove it an immediately hit 140 before i had to let up as i wascoming upon traffic.around 4000rpm but it felt like a floating brick at those speeds.im definitely going 4.10 with trac loc next.anyone else have the sniper programmer? i highly reccomend it!

I didn't want to risk snapping the plastic by prying on it...I tried that with a lense that was about ready for the garbage first.. and it broke so I'm trying this method

I have 4 lenses that have strong housings, so I cut the lense close to the housing and then use the blade to route all the glue out of the seat. Then I'm going to cut the LSC housing and shave the rest off of the lense.
Not sure what Im going to do about the reflective coating inside..chrome paint doesn't seem to work well, and laying in chrome tape is very tedious

And no they aren't for sale...yet, just figured I'd tease a couple folks

I'm still not sure if I like the Gen1 front end on it yet, however it hasn't been painted, and someone broke my grill at work after I painted it...so I have to go hunt down another one and start over

The reason I'm rebuilding them is the housings are flaking apart where the bulbs fit in, so my bulbs bounce around

i had one lens with a crack in it.found a whole assembly on e bay for $50. the lens was perfect, but the chrome inside was garbage. it took alot of patience and about an hour an i had the good one apart. iactually left a post a while back to NEVER, EVER try too clean the inside with windex it willstrip the chrome instantly! the bad one, mine i just pried till it snapped off it was already broken in 2,some lady at the grocery store hit me cracked the lens and left afist size dent right behind the light on the quarterpanel. i bought one of those cheap dent pullers yesterday just to see if it would work and the couple little dings. will let you know how it goes. havent been feeling well the past few days in and out of hospital, my body is still adjusting to being paralyzed, my mind too for that matter.anyways off to pull dents .
