What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

LOL... I know but atleast they are ceramic though, they stop really well and very little brake dust, but I'm open to some suggestions for my other mark, let me know.

I just personally don't like AutoZone, but if they stop well and don't make noise, cool. I'm doing a hub swap and brembo brakes in the spring

I was a commerical manager at Autozone, and :q:q:q:q Autozone. But the C-Max pads are a decent quality product for the price.

On topic, I may have taken a whiz on my Mark VIII when I was drunk awhile ago. May have been someone else, dunno. But I hosed it off today.

There are Marks at Tower Shops now? I used to go now and then a couple years ago and never saw a Mark.... (at the time I had my 98 Cobra)

There's not too many. Maybe 3 or 4 depending on how many of my friends show up. I see that there are some new members that are close and I hope they show up sometime. It would be nice to have some more.

A less then perfect pic a friend took on our way back from camping this year. Had a little to much junk in the trunk.

But to stick to the ot, all I did was clean the windshield.:)

Well I still visit Hollywood often to visit family so I'll definitely cruise on by Towers soon. Look for a 97 Mark with TBird wheels on the rear. lol

I noticed that it was starting to make a pretty good clunk noise from the RF when braking and turning at slow speeds. What could that be?

I just did LCAs this summer. I'd have to say strut rod bushings then. I'll pull it in to the shop tomorrow on lunch and check it all out. Hopefully It'll be okay for a little bit, cause I'm taking a trip Saturday....

Have you checked for leaks? Try bleeding the system out first, don't condemn a part just because of a symptom

Check the cruise switch for leaks, the 93 has another switch in the rear, driver side, just behind the fuel tank, other year models may also have a switch there (but I haven't checked) if you bleed and get ANY little bubbles, chances are you have leak. Also, a bad bearing can cause a low/spongy pedal issue

+1 on the cruise switch.
mine went last weekend.
replaced, all good. even have cruise back.

on a side note, my car had the cruise "recall" done. what do they do? i had the original switch and no change in wiring down there. i do not think they did a damn thing.

This is what I did :D

Waiting for some money so I can buy DLF's adapters and 2 sets of HID lights

Fixed an annoying little "woooooing" sound I've been hearing under the hood lately. I had to repair the PCV tubing a couple of months ago due to dry rot. I used some vacuum line and a "T" connector. It worked great. Until the long hose going from the T to the PCV valve started to collapse. Then it started woooooing all the time. So I replaced it with a stiffer piece of neoprene tubing. Hopefully that'll hold for a while.
