If your old column was working up/down/in/out you could've just taken the 2 plastic guides out of the new one and inserted them into the old one.

Knocked about 6 inches of snow off of my Mark today... and my truck... and my black GT.... and my Mustang II....

Nothing, because Yacht

Not sure. Alex, (Ultimate SVt) is the king of the spray paint can. He does amazing work on small items. I need the whole car painted. There are no dents, rust, or clearcoat!

Rich, remember when I painted the rear bumper cover and the whole top of the 94? The top had very little clear cot on it. Looked like it had cancer but looked fresh from the factory when I was done. I can do black but not my current color (WK).

What I done to the black car took some work and I used Dupli Color acrylic enamel primer and paint and clear coat.I done all of the wet sanding, polishing but the top cost me about $30 and the bumper cover cost me around $30.

During

After and this was before wet sanding the orange peel out. I actually got it way slicker than this.

This was also before a final polishing but the top came out wonderful. I had before pics but lost the card they were on and the hosting service that had the pics went out of business. It looked bad.

This was before the car and garage burned and none of the clutter is mine. That was my dads stuff. Anyway, the paint job turned out good for what I had in it but it was hard work. A whole lot of wet sanding went into making it slicker than what you're seeing.

Terry, this takes two things that I just don't have.....talent and patience! The whole top is dead and the top part of the sides has white blisters. I'm going to see how much it will cost to paint the whole thing. You want to paint another one? I can have it to you in a few hours! The work you did looks great!

I don't know if I could handle another one lol. Just the top and bumper cover took me hours and hours and I about rubbed my arm off from wet sanding. I have all the air tools and sanders but wet sanding has to be done by hand and with a good eye. It does take patience. Believe me, it pressed mine a few times but I finally made it through, just to watch it burn a few months later.I wouldn't want to paint one in this garage anyway. Before being redone, I didn't care about that stuff out there or the walls and floor. My dad passed away and I gave everything that was in the garage to a Mexican. Nice Craftsman table saw for free, and other stuff that just had melted fronts was all free just to remove the clutter he had out there. Anyway, I wouldn't want to attempt a whole car unless I had a booth and everything needed to spray it right. The Dupli Color worked well and looked good but it's still not the right way. If I was doing yours and had the booth, sprayer and paint, I'd probably knock it out for you for $800 - whole car! Jams and all.

Looks like I sold the big camera. A rather nice 4x5. So I have will $1000 to make the air system warnings go away. Should be almost enough. ;)

Get a conversion kit, never worry about it again, and keep some of the $1000. Job done!

replaced the cluster with a ebay white face kit i bought about 2-3 years ago. put it in my dd 97.
