Shipping is going to be nice and high from Canada but I can understand. I'm looking for a few select mint pieces myself and if I have to pay more for shipping to get them in a perfect 10 condition I will.
British Columbia Canada, I sold a part to him a month ago and shipping was a few dollars more to cross the border.

<---Retard. Sorry, it's early and I'm trying to kill time at work by being useless.
Finally got around to pulling out the driver's seat to find out why I sat so low. The motor that lifts the rear of the seat was stuck in the down position. It would click sometimes, but never moved. I tried prying, then smacking the gears with a hammer to try and free up the motor. Didn't really care if it worked, just wanted to get the seat up, even if permanent. Finally pulled the switch off and sprayed (soaked) it with contact cleaner. Put it back together and it seems to be working. I can see over the hood now!
Now the only thing to fix on this car is.....Nothing!

i'm enjoying being off but my parts for my 98 havent got here yet
Ye ole '97 LSC is still running strong and smooth. Only issue I'm having right now is the tranction control randomly engaging for no reason. I try to remember to turn it off when I start the car. But I forgot this morning and it engaged while I was driving 60 or so on my way to work. Had to pull over and let it disengage before it would let me turn it off. The only thing I can think of that could be causing it is that I have a set of decent used tires on the car. 225/60R16 all the way around. But the rear tires are different brands. I wonder if they may be just a tiny bit different in diameter causing the T/C to think one tire is spinning a little faster than the other?
I highly doubt if the miniscul difference in tire height would trigger the tc. What do you think would happen if a spare did that?
Oh it does! I had to put the donut on the left rear a few months ago and the traction control went batsh!t crazy! Again, had to pull off the shoulder and let it go off so I could disable it. So tire size definitely makes a difference.
Not yet. Haven't had time. Another thing I'm going to try eventually is rotating the tires. I have the same size/brand tires on the front so if I put them on the back, the issue may be resolved. Won't happen till this weekend though.Have you tried cleaning the ABS sensors?
I've never had t/c issues with this car until I changed the tires. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened since I got the car. So that's why the only thing I can think of that could be causing it is the tires being different brands and thus slightly different in height. Just for the heck of it, put the donut on your car some time and see what happens. I guarantee the t/c will kick in because it will detect that one rear wheel is spinning faster than the other.Maybe in your particular case it still would, but i doubt it would do the same for someone w/o tc issues. But what do I know, i've never had to use a spare on this car.

Meh, to much work.
Fwiw, I have Goodyears in back and Cooper cs-4's up front all with the same tread depth and I have zero issues. The tire height is different but only by a couple tenths iirc.
Won't matter if the tire size is different front to back. It only matters if the rear tires are different heights on either side. If the sensors detect one of the rear tires spinning faster than the other, the t/c engages. That seems to be the problem I'm having. And since both my rear tires are 225/60R16 but different brands, it only takes a small difference to cause t/c to kick in. But I won't know for sure until I actually have the time to do some troubleshooting. Again, the reason I'm leaning toward tire issues is because this never happened before I put the used tires on the car. As soon as I put these tires on, it started happening. Then it made me think of the time I had to use the donut and the same thing happened because the donut was smaller than the other rear tire and that made the t/c kick in. Same issue, just not as extreme.
