What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

bought them here on the forums they are ford cobra headers

Discontinued now lol. Info I found on what I think are these.

Before being discontinued last year...Ford Racing listed these at $599.00 plus shipping… However, after being discontinued...some online Ford Racing vendors sources were selling remaining inventory for as much as $699 a set.

These are Ford part number M-9430-D465 designed to fit the 93-02 4.6 DOHC. They were not originally configured to fit the 2003 and newer 4.6 DOHC without a minor change to the exhaust flange hardware.

I can get some now for $475. Finally rounded them up but not sure if I really want shorty's or not.

i cant afford 875. for long tubes plus labor ie drop kmember so these will work for me.
i get to the drag strip the super heavy shootout every 3-4 years. plus i want to add a supercharger to the 97. so they should work fine

Got a 4 wheel alignment after rebuilding the front end....

Swapped out my tach for a working unit...

got the 98 ready to drive to work today. 1 month after i bought it. still needs a few things but its a work in progress. pics wont load maybe later

You really need to get you a Photobucket account started because you will be doing all sorta different things to the car and plus, if something was to ever happen to your current pics, they would still be safe with Photobucket and never lost. They changed to a new look but I went back to the old style. I really didn't care for the new design and I gave it about a month. The old way was better for me.

You can also use Razzi.me as I am getting away from Photobucket. If you have a Adsense account you can actually get paid for people looking at your pictures instead of paying Photobucket to host your pics.

Just my 2 cents :D I don't have a photobucket account. And don't need one. All you have to do is download your digital camera or phone photos to your computer and post them straight from there. It's simple. Just click "Go Advanced", and then click the paperclip icon, select your photos from your hard drive, upload them, and then click the paperclip again to attach them to your post. Easy peasy. :) At least it's an alternative route to take. It's easier in my opinion.

I have never paid PB a dime for hosting and saving all of my pics. Had an account with them for years.

I was getting 50k to over 100k views of some of my pics in the Subaru boards or YellowBullet. Photobucket puts up the error pic because my account had gone over the set views. Plus they run adds on there own page with my pics so screw em. They want money from me and want to run adds at the same time

So I am migrating over to Razzi.me and I get paid when people view my pics at least. As opposed to paying them.

I pay about $75 a year for my website. It's mine to do what I want with. Being able to post pics from it is just a bonus.

I've got a few websites too but I run Adsense on em so I still have to watch how extreme a thing I post on em.

My main one NOSLEEPATALL.COM wound up being all Drag Races and Car Shows. Name sure doesn't point that way but it was what I had at the time that my SEO put up the Wordpress page. My main problem is I have a broken link on my splash page so the adds don't show until you click one of the videos.

Anyway I have been mostly doing YouTube vids and that is where my money is coming from for now anyway

I have three, including my son's. I used to run servers and wrote a lot of code at one time, mostly backend stuff, so my sites are all mine. I wrote a functioning youtube long before there was enough bandwidth to make it work. I even was for a time a part of the phpNuke effort where so many of the various posting blogs, wordpress etc, got their start.

oil change...and continued hand sanding (wet) my headlight lenses: up to 2000; they still have some cloudiness; I wonder if I'm doing something wrong... first time restoring headlights

Go through the stages of wet sanding till they're smooth. Once you're satisfied with the smoothness you have to polish them up. I use Meguaires PlastX with a drill attachment and soft pad. Then a couple coats of wax for the hell of it.

They'll remain cloudy till you polish them.

Got the dreaded (check air ride system) message tonight on the way home from work. It seems it didn't air back up when I got off the highway.....hmmm. Shut it off and restarted it when I got home and it aired up and everything looks fine. I'm blaming it on the sub zero temps were having here. That and maybe the compressor had a brain fart. New factory compressor 5 years, 20k miles ago.

Sat back and enjoyed the rain rolling off of my mark. Still looking clean and writing down future plans and wish list.

Driller that's just Lolz I must say wat would a setup like that run and wat additions or mods would need to be made.
