What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

I like my wheels I have now too..they're just a PITA to keep clean

Dr Tranny

Well it's in! Took it for a short drive, maybe 3 miles and tried to get it to shutter and nothing. I have 100 mile drive a little later taking my son back to collage, will give it a better work out then.

:)

I recommended Dr. Tranny to him when he posted way up there or really before he made that post but it was in a PM. Now I have to put my lil smiley back in a PM. :p

Good recommendation though caprice!

I don't believe you. I'm taking credit for this and theres nothing you can do about it. :shifty:

the last couple days i replaced the tensior, idler pulley, serpintine belt, spark plugs, and all front end components. Was a long hard day but well worth it :)

I've got my car jacked up to replace fuel pump...discovered my leaking o.f.a gask....it's added to the list

I didn't loosen lugs before raising car...is there a way to remove the wheel w/out dropping the car?

Stick a bar through a spoke and wedge it beside a peice of metal on the opposite side of the way you loosed it? I'd do something like that. 2 person job.

I don't know of any other way.

pretty sure I can do the job without breaking a plastic nipple this time around on the ofa gasket

I don't beleive you. I'm taking credit for this and theres nothing you can do about it. :shifty:

Yes...Terry did recommend it in a pm and then you here, so I went with it just to get me through to summer. Hate adding stuff like that!
I was thinking about taking it to the dealer for a filter and fluid change (because of the weather) but Terry talked me out of it. I think I'll give it a try when the weather warms up a bit and possibly new accumulators and springs. Who know's I may just do a jmod while I'm there. :)
I hate messing with a trans that works good, I have the feeling something will go wrong and then I'll be screwed. I know NOTHING about transmissions!

BTW...I'm back from the 100 mile drive and no shutter what so ever!!!!
Thank's to you both!!! It was well worth the 10 bux!

Once again...I LOVE LVC! And all the members!!

What did I do to my mark today? Made it look worse by backing into a tree pulling into a parking spot..didn't realize it was as close as it was to the back of the spot..well I found out real quick as I heard an awful crunching sound and my car stopping dead..I was super pissed..I didn't even want to walk back and look at it. Turns out it scuffed it and cracked the paint around the license plate. Got it back home and buffed the scuffs out and touched up little spot where the paint cracked..I was very surprised it all came out but I'm still left with spider cracks in the paint that only show up in certain light...uhhg so mad at myself. Looks like ill be getting the bumper repainted. On the upside I installed my new corner lenses..figure I had to do something good for the car after backing into a tree.

Sorry Jesse :(

The SuperCoupe I found at the JY ended up being more modded than I had realized upon first inspection. I grabbed the 1.25 Adco sway bar and installed it this morning. The Tokico Illuma electrical adjusted shocks and Vogland springs with perches and sensors are in a crate being weighed for shipment at this moment. I also grabbed the poly bushing sway links and installed them with the bar. The Clutch/Brake pedal assemblies and clutch Master are now for sale. I'll install the Stainless Braided brake hoses later today or tomorrow

Damn you. Lol

You better go back and make sure that car has an addco on the front!

I am, and I just tried to install the brake hoses.. no go... the Marks fitting on the end of the line is too small for them, so I can either replace the fitting with a a larger one.. or sell the lines to a SC guy

Just looked at mine sitting in the driveway for the 5th day in a row. Didn't get a chance to jack it up and pull that right rear wheel off to see what was broken. It snowed Saturday and was flippin' cold as a well digger's a$$ in a hail storm on Sunday. Plus I had the kids all weekend so everything else was put on the back burner. They're just so much fun to play with! And I'm working until about 2030hrs tonight so can't do anything to it. And Scout meeting tomorrow and working late again Wednesday and Thursday. And getting the kids again next weekend. So I'm driving the Cougie for the forseeable future. Oh well, could be worse :)

jelly. loving the addco bar.

and how is the line fitting too small? that is weird. i have supercoupe lines (from spinningwheels-sc. nice people. drop shipped me the lines from the manufacturer because they didn't have any in stock.) on my car. had them before and after the cobra brakes.
