What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

Removed my cobra emblems and pin-striping. Applied gunmetal gray pinstripe where the base model chrome was. :) I Still need to wash and wax. She's filthy!

Also, I sent in my SCT chip to Lonnie at Blue Oval to give me the most aggressive tune he has....

Got her emissions done. Gawd she's good lookin'! I love watching her being driven in and out of the bay. :)

Filled up with primo today, thought it was time to run another tank of the good gas through. The mk8 has been running out standing so I think I'm gonna work on the blazer this weekend. Me and the daughter is going on a long motorcycle ride this week sometime, I'm off work till the Monday after next.

Ditto on the Premium but I have to say I love getting it on the way home from work going to a car show

Ordered spark plug wires for the '95 today. And going to tow the '97 from West End to Candor so I can have it with the '95 to make it easier to swap parts. Gonna be doing the exhaust, wheels, and rear air springs this weekend.

Got the '97 towed to my house in Candor so it will be easier to start swapping parts over to the '95.

This light has had problems for awhile now. Decided to take a look at it. Gen 1 back seat light.
Anyone have a pic of this light all together out of the car? What holds the button in? What hold the lens on? Lens is not broke.

Edit: Never mind, figured it out, switch pushes in and slides forward. Housing clip was broke, used a little tape and she's all done.

found some 94 part numbers on my (at least i think) 93 engine. so that's interesting.
the water pump pulley and power steering pulley. idk why those would have been changed out?? also the belt tensioner but i can see that.
and water pumps and power steering pumps don't come with the pulleys so.

anyway.

replaced a rear caliper, pads, and rotor....

since I just replaced the right rear caliper, will I need to bleed the ABS system at the dealer or with some special adapter? hopefully I can get by with just doing the traditional hose/jar method with a friend pressing the pedal while i loosen, tighten the bleed screws: RR, LR, RF, LF?

Battery light is on at idle but not when your driving....not again! I had to argue with AZ for a week last time the alternator worked sometimes and not other times. :(

Blower stopped blowing air, thinking I have to repair a wire connection, fun in humidity.

No it's RR, LF. LR, RF. You can try bleeding with the key on and hope the ABS pushes some air out.

Not according to the ford manual
Its RR, LR, RF, LF.
Also if he didn't let the master run dry or disconnect
The hydraulic control unit there is no worry about the abs system and it doesn't matter if key is on or off.

Another new alternator installed and charging once again. :) Third one in a year!

On a side note, I always bleed the brakes the friend way...never a problem.
