What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

Replaced tensioner pulley and installed new belt, fixed idler pulley and pressure washed entire engine bay. Looks amazingly clean, it really needed the wash, and finally no belt squeal then decided to buy more led bulbs for message center controls and a few other small pieces. Will hopefully be working on more soon

can I transport a replacement rear window in my Mark w/ passenger and back seats removed?

I'm sure it would fit with just the front seat removed..I'd just be worried about the window flexing and cracking since there's really no flat area to lay it or lean it up against something. Cant borrow someones truck?

started with a set of these

and turned em into these

I got stuck with these a while back and one of the ones that came with my rims was broken. so i said f-it swapped em all around the car. Ill try and get a picture of em on the rim. my friend bryan clear coated em and polished em with turtle wax. They fit a lot better then the old caps that were on the rims as well.

Washed it again and checked all the fluids. Hopefully the beast will make it up to central Wisconsin in one peice.

Looks like I'll turn 150k by the time I hit Lake Geneva. :)

I think it is. I'm going to my annual camping trip though, don't think i'll make it up to Bos....again. :(

Had mine super clean for the past two days and it's been raining here all day but it quit long enough for the streets to start drying.I was going down to the corner store about half a mile away. All was good until I turned the corner and got to the first curve and the bottom fell out of the sky. I was irate. Got it back home and backed it into the garage and got the blower out and dried it within 2 minutes and finished it off with a soft towel. All dry and clean again.

^^^ Now, thats one passionate Mark VIII owner right there.

It's been raining here too for the past 3 days. Parked M-tude out in the rain and discovered she sprung a leak at the upper passenger side rear glass. The rear-most corner of my headliner is soaked as well as the leather seat below it.

replaced the front LH rotor and pads, checked the rears for anti-rattle clips, then it rained real hard

Today I bought a TR3650 from an 05 Roush Mustang with 1,000 miles on it for $600. Since I didn't post yesterday, I bought a 97 Cobra intake.

Worked on an exhaust leak today (the rain allowed me to). Didn't start it tho, should be quit as a mouse next time I use it (Monday).

damn it caprice always with the camping, i camp too just not during boscobel weekend

Replaced the blower motor and charged up the compressor in the A/C. It's been over 105 every day for like 4 weeks. Last weekend 115 - 120 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Needless to say, I'm thrilled at how good the A/C works now.

swapped the RH front rotor/pads, r/r two lug studs on that hub beforehand. Now all 4 wheels have new rotors and pads, smooth ride:steering

Got the chrome wheels switched over to the '95 on Friday. Drove it to work today. Still waiting on my new spark plug wires :(

Silver wheels on the Cougar now :) Gotta change my sig pic again...

Oh yeah, also had some white #194 LED's laying around so I put them in the rear seat reading lamps and under dash lamps. Gotta get a couple for the map lights and door panel lights. I think I'll stick with the white LED's for the interior lighting but I still want blue for the instrument cluster, EATC, and trip computer buttons and such.

Also put a bulb in the under hood light. Didn't even know Mark VIII's had them. My '96 didn't have one and neither did my '97. Pretty cool :)

Couldn't wait had to start it and take it for a test drive. MAN! She's frick'n quite now! I love if. She had a little rumble before and didn't sound to bad but I'm glad she's purring like a kitten again instead of a tiger....lol

junkyard??? NO WAY! give her a little TLC and she'll be back on the road in no time!
:joke
