ordered 4 new brake hoses for the brown one, and new idler pulley for the white one...65 shipped from RA
---will be starting the hub swap, cobra brake mod soon
----is it a foregone conclusion that I'll get air in the ABS pump when I r/r hoses?

got the whole idler arm assembly with pully at advanced for $50

Went out this morning and looked at it. The rear end was on the ground this time. So it looks like if it ever stops this infernal RAINING ALL THE DAMN TIME I'm going to have to change out all four air bags, height sensors, and the compressor. It'll happen some day. Hopefully soon. That's the joy of having a parts car with a good suspension :)

Installed a new battery. My trip last weekend was too much for the old one, replaced/upgraded via warranty. Washed it inside n' out too.

did my front brakes a moth ago or so rotors calipers, pads set o tires.whoever had the carbefore crossthreadded the sleevesthe bolts the caliper`on the driver side causing it to seat incorrectly. to no avail 3 good fiends and i tried to remove the sleeves that come with the new caliper they were rust frozen and not coming out unless drilled which none of us had the right size for.passenger side perfect. drivers side screwed all i needed was for my buddy to come back on the 20th but pads were already chewing up the rotor. for the first time in recorded history my family decided to help and mom dropped the car off at her shop who promptly charged $670!thry replaced the pads all around, 2 new front rotors and calipers (only needed one side they told her unless they did it all they wouldn't cover the work) unbelievable so ive got new stopping powerand was going to use dbl piston mustang calipers, but whats done is done. when i asked for the NEW rotor and caliper from the good side ......"um cant find them..." was going to exchange for credit. o and full synthetic oil change.

ordered a new keyless remote, $20 off ebay. Started gathering body work supplies so I can paint her

a)pulled door panel, r/r mirror
b)adhered door bottom lamp lenses
c)began removing rear knuckles
d)removed LH headlight: buffed it, lubed adjuster screws, reinstalled and adjusted

took a good couple hours yesterday and got her all cleaned up, wasn't too bad since she ain't really gone anywhere since boscobel last year, but she still gets dusty in the garage, was supposed to clean the bird too but it got too hot and i was wiped after working in the sun all morning. that and i had to go renew the tags on the old blue explorer, seems they expired in January..... still got hassled by the man though, he asked if the vehicle ran? also said its been parked there for a long time (on the street in front of new neighbors house, i think they called or some bs) i told him its always in my driveway and its only been parked there for a couple hours today while i washed the car. he said every time he goes by its over there, i said bs i drive it to work everyday (and he knows this cuz i work across the parking lot from him, maybe ill point that out on Monday) i think he got it confused with a jeep that is usually there, but of course small town cops are never wrong...:shifty:

Hey guys, I had the little metal piece at the end of the spring sitting on my exhaust pipe. Is it safe to zip tie it up around the rear IRS like this? I know it needs a cleaning...
