What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

Yes, the far ass out one that nobody brings carts too. That gaurentees me at least one side where an idiot cant part next to me. In the cars window reflection you can see some POS GM truck that still parked way the hell out there too.
He too was taged with the same writing.

Wal-Mart = security cameras, lots of them, demand the video of the time you were in the store

Not in Mexia. It was harmless schoolgirl crap. The store was loaded with Jr High students. But the first thing I did was look up at the lights and there was not a single camera out there. There are a couple on the building but they all look at the enterance and sidewalks.

I installed a meter4it.com chase/sequential light setup in my car today/yesterday. I'm the guinea pig for a new 8 light (4/side) module from Gary. We are still working some very minor kinks out of it, but it's already amazing! I'll be making a write up about it in the next week or so as I took some pics and vids :)

Seafoamed my '96 yesterday and found out that I have a vacuum leak somewhere at the back of the engine. I haven't had time to really look for it yet. I'm relatively certain it wasn't an exhaust leak, or it would make more noise. There's probably a vacuum hose at the back of the intake that's dryrotted or something. I'll probably get in there and look for it this weekend. It's been rainy and yucky the past couple of days here and I don't have a garage or shelter to work under.

You'll always hear a vacuum hissing noise on a Gen1, there is a vacuum port in the throttle body, best way to find a suspected leak is with starter fluid, use small bursts of sprays on the plenum and hoses, you'll see the port I'm talking about if you remove the intake tube, it's between the valves in the TB

vacced and started charging my AC last night, added 1oz oil then grabbed the 1st can of refrigerant, hooked it to the accumulator, and hit the puncture button in the can, heard hissing at the compressor, I susspected that the seals were bad since it was a salvage compressor. A friend confirmed the leak and we got some seals from his shop. Used a 10mm/11mm snap-on 0-play wrench (amazing tool) got the seals swapped in about 5 mins and continued to charge the system, then the 2nd can of refrigerant was defective so we took the car to his shop and put it on the AC vac and charge machine and did it again...AC is very cold now

Thanks. I actually didn't hear a hissing noise. But I did see quite a bit of seafoam "smoke" coming from the back of the intake manifold while I was revving the engine. It didn't do that last time I seafoamed it. So this is recent. And it may be contributing to the slightly rough idle the car has had lately. There is a "T" vacuum hose at the back between the firewall and the intake. I had to replace it a couple of years ago with a plastic "T" since the rubber hoses were dryrotted and completely ruined. That may be the problem. Won't know until I can get the intake tube off to get a closer look.

went to my local u pullit and found a CE and scored the door trim and the shifter knob. also the taillight.

Got my burfday present from Laser today, custom grill woohoo, it looks great, swapped out the Gen1 lincoln logo for a Gen2 on it for a more 3D look
gotta give it some paint and a little work but once I'm done it'll be awesome
Thanks Buddy!!!

Did the Clay Bar from Maguires, had it painted over the winter, just now getting it clayed and waxed.
Took it back to the shop that installed the the front struts and LCAs. The left front solonoid was not seated enough for a good contact.
Going to install the black 3m rear trim around the window tomorrow.

just took her for a ride and decided to take a picture

shoot i happen to look down and saw it turn over 146000 it seems to run better as the numbers go up a/c blows ice cold and it runs great.

I put the new driver's seat side trim I got from deadmark8. Had to repair a few cracks and the mounts on the back. Ford sure could've made those a little thicker. Hope it doesn't break again when I sit on it tomorrow. If it does it's still better than the original one.

I drove mine for 20 minutes down a HWY and got three bull:q:q:q:q tickets. All three tickets are 100% beatable but the cock suckin state trooper still gave them to me. I hope his wife or girlfriend was giving someone head while he was admiring the 95.

Got teh rest of my intake stuff!!!1!! Now I am good to go for blower install. :D

It was about 90 or so deg. yesterday. The sun was shining and all and all just a fantastic day to buff out the paint and wax the car.

I turn on the water and start spraying the roof and windshield and hood.. got to the back window and i hear a "tink".
I go back to the front and I see the windshield has a crack in it about 3 ft. long in it now. The crack starts on the top side right above the driver, under the trim, comes down 8 inches, and goes starboard 3/4 of the way across the windshield.
Well, i guess this will make me replace the hail damaged trim piece now. :)

finally got it driving took it to Belle tire come to find out that the threaded ends on the inner tie rods that came with the rack were to short so i ended up going to advanced auto picked up a pair for $40. there was about 2 inches differences between the two. i'm going to have to take it back in to get the alignment re adjusted it starts shaking at 60

Installed the rear window trim kit from Hals restoration. It cleans it up alot.
I cut off the lasagna before it was painted. Looked pretty good with it cut only, but decided to install the trim since I already had it.
