Correct. I asked the parts guy to look while I fired it up for a second, and he saw the arm swing down some, it shouldn't do that. So I replaced the whole thing, it came with the pulley.
...On a good note, went to the casino yesterday, and lady luck paid for another MK VIII.
Went to the DMV to register the new car, so I can be legal, and get it smogged. They gave me temp plates, good for 10 days, and said get it smogged, and come back for real plates. Never again. I've got plenty of cars that have 2 plates that won't mind sharing. About 4 miles to the smog place shouldn't be a problem. Tried to do things right, and it bit me right in the butt. A friend of mine used a repair plate and DMV yelled at him saying you can't do that. It's all about the $$$$$ Cost me $105 today and I have to go back. I like playing the ones that let me win. I've been doing slots mostly. Pic M Poker, a no brainer. You pick stack 1 or 2 that have 3 cards, 2 that are hidden, and that completes the hand. The good: pays on a pair of nines or better, and it pays double your bet. Sometimes you win, sometimes not. Winning's not hard, getting the money out of the casino is the trick.I love casino winnings! What game do you play?
DAMMIT!!! Installed a brand new ballast and two new HID's in my low beams yesterday and only one of them will work Both worked at first and then the d/s light just went out and won't come back on. Don't know if it's a bad bulb, ballast, or wiring. The headlights on this car are driving me completely insane! If I had any hair left I'd be pulling it out!
 Nah. I love my Lincoln. She's just got a few little bugs to work out. I think it's a wiring issue. Shouldn't be too hard to fix once I calm down and think about it for a little while. Besides, riding a bicycle is just too damn much work...
Seems like she gets new "bugs" multiple times a week.
Tried to do an ETAC test but nothing happens. I pressed floor and off at the same time and auto within 2 secs, and nothing. did I do the wrong sequence?
Did a little carbon fiber experimentation. Also figured out I have another bad HID ballast. View attachment 828466187View attachment 828466188View attachment 828466189
I had the same issue. Finally figured out you press FLR and OFF at the same time, THEN you must let go of both buttons, THEN press AUTO within 2 seconds. Make sure it's not below 35 degrees in your cabin.
Cleaned my Headlights, cleaned the chrome 19 wheels, grabbed some rainx wipes, and put in TRICO Onyx Wiperblades.
I used a 16 megapixel camera so you can click on the pics to see full detail.
Rims front after, rear before
Headlights after I did drivers side, and then both done. Passenger came out nicer. They have moisture inside them.
