What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

checked for vaccum leaks to try and explain my poor gas milage..none found..

zip tied some wireing. Prayed to the rearview mirror gods to continue making my mirror stay on.

Yea, the hose closest to the front of the engine out of the 2 on mine was partially colapsed and cut..though the colapsed part sealed the 1.5" cut..Replaced it last year and it didnt fix my mpg problem.

about 1k old. no cel's..o2's are within spec(1 might be alittle lazy). Though i think there orginal. Thats really the only thing i can think of..

Dont have a job yet so i have to wait to try that
 
no..idles fine...I do however only usually take short trips around town
 
i finally took the stupid white face gauge cluster out of my 97 and replaced it with a factory one that i can actually see light up at night now!! i gave her a bath too way overdue. then i almost got in a fight with some dickhead in an s-10 with one headlight because he was riding my ass so i smashed the brakes, he locked his up, then got on the side of me and told me to put my window down, so i did, and flipped him off as he yelled something to me and i put it to the wood and my exhaust drownd him out as i instantly got about 2 miles ahead of him!!

I had a feeling that would cause confusion.

I disconnected the changer first, since it was easier to access - Went to work, left it, came out.. DEAD... left it out, took out the amp.. been 3 silent days, and all is well!
 
How many times do we have to tell you that you're fugging amp is bad before you actually LISTEN?

I listened, and was removing the fuse so I could still listen to music while driving. I only left it in to test it over the weekend..

Im willing to bet its the CD changer. He said it sticks and before he said it sticks I said "If its sticking or cant eject then its prolly draining the battery" and that if it were me I would first unplug it then see if the battery dies.

But fugg it, what do I know.

Check up, Did that first before I did the amp cause I was thinking the same thing.. then the car died, I pushed it out of my garage, and man, when 4000LBS catches even a 2 degree decline it really gets moving... came out of my garage and crushed my hand :(

But yeah, its def the amp

I ran out of safety material!!! No paying sidejobs FTMFL...and yea I'm very testy when I've been in the heat all day...then I go to a sidejob and they act like retards about paying me...I hate people!

Some chick wanted to pay me $10 a week to replace her dash in her 05 Dodge 1500, because she just started a new job and didn't have all the money...$10 a week...for a $800 job..I think not!

Well since he dont ever follow advice and hadnt said anything till AFTER I just posted it was a safe asumption.

I was wrong, it was the other thing I told him it was last month.
