What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

Nothing, I'm gonna keep being pissed until fix it, then I'll be happy :D. At 2:30 in the morning I found a possible vacuum leak near the PCV valve area that did affect idle while I manipulated the hoses, but it was too dark to see well. I don't hate it, I just get pissed at how much trouble I have with my Mark VIIIs compared to various other cars, even Lincolns I have owned.

nah. they are just like every other ford car my family has owned. you win some, you lose some.
my mark and my dads old f150, win.
my moms LS, my aunts mark viii, and my grandma's grand marquis. not so much.
you'll figure it out and all will be well.

Washed and waxed the '97 LSC today. That thing looks great when it's clean!

yeah these motors are SO expensive... im selling my other for a whopping $250. and according to Jamie, should only take an hour and a half to swap

Is that right? Expensive to the point where you might as well part it then get new motor? Damn! Well I bet he regrets not listening to his conscious because I remember the car before it got painted pearl, and it was only like 2 months into the new paint and then owner FAIL.

i probably would've found out for myself how expensive motor is because my previous Mark before it got t-boned was beginning to sound like a diesel truck

Is that pearl in color? I maybe interested in some LSCtrim pieces if in excellent condition to convert mine to non-chrome. Send me a PM to let me know, so we can deal:)

I think sapper was being sarcastic, since he mentions he is selling one for $250...

I tell you, I'm the airhead of airheads....

So I take the housing unit and connect it to the car battery to test it out and luckily enough, it works!!! Good thing it worked because it eliminated the other possibilities and all I need in that case is just that magical Glitch ballast instead the combo.

We lost about 60* overnight and that seems to have upset my car. I forgot to get some coolant so the water pump was almost frozen stuck. The cold temps did kill my subwoofer though. I turned it up and the bass sounded like crap. Opened the trunk and saw half the cone was cracked apart. :(

Man what a :q:q:q:qty deal, your lucky on that antifreeze though. Could of been worse.

Cleared snow out of the way ... brushed off snow ... parked on the street. Cleared the rest of the snow away ... left run for until I was done cleaning out a a few neighbors driveways and sidewalks ..... Then drove to the Coffee Shop for a break.

The cold continues to take its toll. The trans cooler started to leak on its couplings and then the fuel door button broke and the spring shot me in teh eye.
