What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

Did the new plugs today and only had one COP boot go bad. Luckily had another in stock so things went along smoothly along with how it felt after I started it back up :D

my misfire came back tonight as i left work and i got pissed so i went to my shop, popped the hood and with it running, i pulled each coil pack one at a time, my number one cylinder didnt make a difference, so i tried another coil, still nothing, so i grabbed my monster flathead screw driver and stuck it on the number 1 injector and guess what, dead! popped the rail up and swapped an injector and she's all beautiful again! and i didnt burn my shop down like terry! terry told me on the phone i should have let him change it for me, smart ass lol!

i finally installed a strut package on my 94, after driving it for a couple hundred miles, im sure im leaving the 98 air suspensioned. tho not a bad ride, its still not air....

I connected the battery and she started right up. Ran smooth for about 15 minutes then I drove here around the driveway for a bit, then parked her and disconnected the battery. 80,600 miles now.
Had no brakes, pedal goes tp the floor; I do believe that all fluid has left the brake system. Fun, fun. Thank god the e-brake works.

Washed my 93 ... put new tires on her. Changes my son's upper control arms on his 96. Got frustrated when the lower control arm front bolt wouldn't come out!! Arrrrr....

found out i have shot strut rod to k member bushing and haven't find oem ones yet. been told they cant be found anymore.

Took her to the Cleveland AutoRama...

Was there a judging event going on there, and if so did you get judged or what was the majority of the comments that you got? I can only imagine it was all good. And is that you in the roped off area talking to a onlooker?

I am in a non-judged area. We took the Mark and a 1200hp Magnum there to advertise the shop.
Got some nice comments.. and no, that's not me:)

Glitch is next on my list of things to do since I did the aftermarket HID swap

Insulated my ac lines with some thick rubber hoses and loom over that. And detailed the inside of the car :)

Is it that time to update your thread yet? We are still waiting for the hooker to pop out of the cake you know. So lets see it damn it :shifty:

Changed my mind again and decided to install the Cobra intake after I had decided to sell it. I found a Cobra EGR setup including tube cheap that will allow me to have something fabricated to my car. All I will need afterward is a little bit of fuel line to connect the Cobra fuel rail and some odds and ends which I can get locally. I keep seeing people getting 2-3 mph gains with similar setups to mine.

Got the Chrome 10-spokes installed on my 97. :D

Crappy cell phone pic in the garage. Gotta wait for a sunny Spring day to take some pics!

hey nice wheels!! i was gonna ask if they made it safely since i never heard from you. hey big mike, if you see this, do those 10 spokes look familiar? they went from florida all the way to illinois, pretty funny considering that one of my old marks did the same thing, to the same guy!! looks good ron.

Rofl. I was gonna ask. I resisted, but that figures.... Looks pretty good, bet you are glad I don't like them, considering they are yours now!

Thanks! They arrived safe and sound early last week. I should have shot you an email and let you know I got them. I didn't open the box until Sunday night. Life's been pretty crazy here in the heartland...

Big Mike, I'm very happy you don't like them! I love them on a light colored Mark. Of course, now I have to re-do all the chrome trim on the doors. It looks like crap....

*last night* Insulated the ac lines with some thick rubber hoses, found the rattle in my pass door. The lower window treack FELL THE FRICK OFF. So i dont know how to fix that. Took me 30 freakin minutes to put the panel back on.
