What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

Jamie, you just wanted to get that redneck armor all on your body to look like a pro wrestler... Don't lie.

Anyway, thanks to Rich for the free part, I got my infocenter buttons working again today, no more traction control or mirrors moving when I reverse!

got my tires balanced and rotated. The guy rolled one of the back tires over to me and said there is some serious scraping going on, the whole inner lip had a slite bevel to it, come to find out the zip ties holding the e-brake cable in place broke off and the cable was rubbing against the inside of the rim. Bought some hose clamps that should keep it in place

Did some trading over the weekend and scored some sweet wheels (PiTA to clean em tho)

I do my own oil changes 90% of the time but when you buy a used car chances are 90% that they were Lube Shop done :shifty:

True. I didn't think about that.

I like your drain valve if it isn't down far enough to ever get caught and ripped off? Deff make changes easier sept for the filter since I'm to lazy to install a relocation kit

Mine's not too far down. I've had it on for ten years and never had a problem with it. It works great. I'll take a pictur of it and post tomorrow if I can think of it.

LMAO!!! jamie the manly man working shirtless! you gotta be careful, you could of lost a nipple. trans fluid sux it gets everywhere, i bet you smelled purdy :D

just from my personality here you can surely guess how i was in the shop after the bucket slammed over on its side!

I bet there were a few of these: :q:q:q:q floating over your head. I wonder what it'd be like if they came out in normal spoken conversation?

Got my 2 sets of cadence comps delivered and they look sexy as hell. Wire harness delivered..Also got my sd card loaded up for my Pioneer 3200dvd that shall go in a couple weeks. Battery terminals and dd kit should be in today, install 2maro.

Tried to install my front braces but cant find my large bits to open the mounting holes up.
Then tried to clean the undercarriage but the wind is at 25+mph solid so after wearing an entire can of degreaser I gave up.
So I just washed it and found various scuffs and light scratches to remove.
Too windy to do a full detail though.

Had that problem when i did that last weekend..Had to move the car in such a way to avoid said problem. Still had to close my eyes while blindly spraying it though.

Replaced the tweaked power antenna mast with a stainless steel one that I got on fleabay for 10 bucks. Now it finally retracts all the way.

One of those little things that was drivin me nuckin futz.

I thought about doing something to mine. Then I realized I was lazy and didn't do anything.

Worked on the 97 today.

Cleaned up the thermostat housing I bought from Peter. Installed a new thermostat and gasket and all new cooling hoses. Flushed and filled the cooling system.

Washed the 97 and the DA.

Started project "get wheels to fit w/o spacers" after i got done w/ my batt terminals. Drivers side is done. Had to take the grinder to the brake bracket in a couple spots to clear some parts of the wheel that was touching it. So i'm anxious to get the pass side done to see if my wobble is gone..On top of the wobble i MIGHT have a flat spot on one of my tires from being stored this winter..Idk, i moved it once a month. :(

And to my pleasure the hub is the exact same size as the wheels. Well, if anyone read the wheel fitment thread i made last week you'd understand.

put some miles on the and get them ballanced a couple of times. Usually the flat spots will come out of them.
