What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

I'd buy two on top, too (if i hadn't already buy two sets...)!
But what will be the price?
 
Not sure what I'm gonna do with them yet... If someone had some Gen2 parts so I could just fix mine.. I might trade for what I need

I need Gen2 headlights, the headlight mount, front bumper cover, left fender, grill,and that piece above the grill

normal ride height, inch shorter than stock tires. one rear quarter is rusted badly, giving more clearance.
they rub in the back over big bumps. on the side that hasn't rusted out. they have rubbed twice so far. i also have totally blown shocks. i can move one by hand.
other than that, idk.
 
new ball joint. so much better its unreal.
went cruising, a little friendly racing, lost to a taurus. :( walked me from 30-70 and then blew me away. sigh.
my brother's 92 SHO mtx. stupid thing is quick.
 
Got an alignment, oil change, fuel filter changed, front tires balanced (rears wouldn't break loose with the shop's impact gun!) and some more of my system put in.
 
Pondering whether I should buy a new OEM driver side air spring from American Air......

Seems like with the cooler morning weather lately, the bag is having a tougher time keeping air in.

sounds like they were using an inferior impact wrench.....
 
Man I need another Mark. Spent the day working on some very nice examples. One member from here showed up in his beautiful 98 Ivory on Ivory LSC. Thing was fuggin CLEAN! Excellent example of a LSC. Just did some suspension adjustments and replaced the drivers door handle and mirror.
Then one of our new members brought his very nice 93 down. Another nice ride. Threw a lowered coil conversion on it, new control arms and a true dual exhaust. Cars stance was perfect and the sound made me really jonse for another Mark. Was one of the few first gens I would gladly drive.
Sappefire made it worse since his glasses broke. He had me drive his car while we went to grab a bite.

Marks just feel so right. Love the layout and the power. Cars are a joy to drive. I NEED ANOTHER ONE!!!!
 
Well Laser, you've done it again. Did my 2nd Major Car Show and Got my 2nd Trophy!!

Placed Second in the Specialty Modified Class at the Green Country Mustang and Ford Show. 20+ Cars in my class, got beat by a Completely stock Ford Lightning?
