Damn, you are totally right. Base A8 4.2 comes in at 1,868 kilograms, or a little over 4100 lb's! The S8 comes in at ~4300 lb's

I'm not an expert on the A8 platform but my 2005 S4 weighs in at 3850 stock. Audi's are extremely heavy cars, and If memory serves me correctly the 2004+ A8's shed some weight. I'll look into it for arguments sake. Here's my ride btw:

Door handle broke off this morning, very exciting! For those of you who have had to deal with this, did you end up replacing just the handle or the entire assembly? Do all year door handles match up (I have a 94'), and does the keyless entry make a difference?

I'm interested in the driver's side door handle assembly, especially if it is a keyless entry (keypad).
