Nope, car has been gone 3 weeks now.

Ah crap, it's a 2 pieace then. I just thought that gap was part of the design. I had a 86 merkur xr4ti and it actually have a joint in the shaft and was flexing under suspension movement. That's what I thought I was looking for or something similar.

I pulled the car apart myself. I can get a picture when I get home from work. It's a very weird car for sure, cause when we pulled the motor the valve covers said 8/01/94. The door tag is something like 9 or 10 / 94. So I thought it was actually a 95.

HA! I got them to work. While in reverse, if you push forward on the lever ever so slightly, they come on. I did some light cleaning and they now work great. :) Car will be on the road as soon as I get my hands on the title (just waiting on a friend to pick it up for me).

I'm gonna bet the mlps sensor is out of adjustment. This sensor tells the trans which posision the gear lever is in. It might be sensing it's in neutral.

I actually did and that's where I found one broken wire (which fixed the center running lights and the trunk popper). Didn't see anyhing else though.

Yea I did. It's not getting power. I did find a break at the trunk connector and it got my middle running lights and trunk popper working. I was thinking it could be the mlps sensor on the trans but it shifts perfect.

Haha, i'll peel those off soon enough. I mean it just needs the corner lamp and the front/rear bumpers, hood and maybe a little spot on the roof painted. I'm still trying to find out why it's got no reverse lights. It got brand new bulbs, new fuses, the wires look fine. I just don't get it.

Any help on these issues? I checked the fuses, only found 1 bad one (for the lighter). I'm mostly worried bout the light's.

Yup. I just meant the actual chip. Sweet, I'll just store it away when I'm done with it on the mustang. :)

I'm going to be switching the mustang from the SCT chip to a stand alone system. Would the chip work in the mark? Also can you do gear corrections on the chip or would I need a new speedo gear?

The car will see the spare set of 3.73's, and my old t-lok. It'll get the j-mod once I see the condition of the trans. Seeing as I already have a 500hp turbo'd fox, I'll pass on that :)
