I can not stand door dings, and people in general. So I always park way out in the lot no matter where I am. Try to have as much space between myself and the next car as possible.

70% of the time, when I come out there is some p.o.s car/truck parked right on top of me. I mean over the line, or damn near trying to park in the backseat. Who else has this issue?

I don't mind if a nice car parks next to me with plenty of space between the two. Had a 2010 Camaro next to me a couple weeks ago, and a new Mercedes last week.

I only have the Mark, and it seems to attract the most beat to hell vehicles within 30 miles. Same thing when I had my Mustang, and my T-Bird.

Miss my Jeep for this reason, I always parked as close as possible and didn't care at all.

all of the time I have left some nasty notes for people
and one time I confronted a person for parking right next to
me so I could hardly get out they seem very surprised to get
called out on there crappy parking job

When I managed a bar I used to take up 2 spots all the time right out front
so I could check on her time to time Would have customers come asking for me to complain about the jerk taking up 2 spots I would tell them I would deal with it if the came back I would tell them its my car Then they would walk away not another word

Nice, ha ha.

Just sucks, because I usually am hitting 7 different places a day for work. Kinda miss working in one location, where I would always take 2 spots out in the lot away from others. Yet in a good enough view to check up every few hours.

I always park far away and by myself unless I can get those cherry spots that have the large handicapped walk space on one side and cart rack on the other. Then no worries of door ding. But man do I get pissed when the lot is damn near empty and some ass hat has to park right on top of me. Me and sapperfire went to lunch the other day in my Mark. I parked in an ile that had not one other car in it. We leave and the lot is still pretty open yet right next to my car is a beat up POS Tahoe thats over the line on my side.
I had my keys out as I was ready to do some dammage but we didnt see any dings on mine.... well other then the one that was there already. :(

im more worried about my rear bumpers . I've had about three jackasses park their front bumpers on my back bumper. I always take a pic just in case

Personally I think you are asking for it when parking away from everyone. You look like you are better than everyone. I love my cars/trucks too, but it is just a car. You should hear people giving me :q:q:q:q cause I use my 2000 Lightning pullied and tuned to tow my mustang to the track.

It is just a car, but I want to keep it in as good a shape as possible. People have no respect what so ever for others cars. I am almost guarantee I would have a bunch of dings by now.

If I work away from everyone else, it should be no one else concern, not like I parked taking multiple spots. I do however take multiple spots in some places. I do it when there is a couple open spots at the end of the aisle between the island and cart holder. That way no one can park near me.

Its very rare i park my car anywhere and leave it unattended for more then a few minutes, i always park away from everyone and if i cant, i check both sides of the car before entering for door dings. I also almost ALWAYS make sure one side of my car is right up next to an island and as close to it as possible. So far i've been lucky...all of my friends give me :q:q:q:q and bitch about me parking at the end when i drive pass 10 open spots to do so, but i tell them just like anyone else, dont like it? Then dont get in the car.

Dude. I thought you were joking, but you're not. I don't know what kinda luck you've had, but those cart racks are begging for a cart in your car. I never ever park anywhere near a rack.

I double park or park at an angle covering two spots regularly on the ends. If I can't find an end I'll park double way out in the middle of nowhere where everybody is too lazy to park. At gas stations I park at the pump. I don't care about parking tickets, they're cheaper than dings. No dings yet.

I had my jaw broke and was at boston market in Rochester Mn eating mashed potatoes (my last meal before my surgery) then leaving there to go to the MAYO surgeon. Nobody is at this Boston market, it's like 10 AM.. so I park out in front (Not in my mark, in my 'beater' car) And a couple people came in. There's nothing but glass windows between all the seating in the whole place and my car, yet I paid no attention to how they parked. A couple more people came in, still paid no attention to my car. ..I go to leave, and (already being short fused because I'm already pretty unhappy to be alive at the time) I see there is a car parked no more than 1 foot away from my car, on BOTH SIDES! THERE ARE ONLY 3 CARS IN THE WHOLE LOT! And they look like they're smashed together!! I have company, too, which pisses me off more, because she has to wait for me to get the car out so she can get in! So I squeezed my hand in, opened my door, walked back and climbed the guys car to get up and over the top of my door to get in, squeeze in and just spazz out. I beat my door into that guys car about 30 times in about 15 seconds, When I finally decided to back out I beat my door into the whole side of his f'g car. I completely expected a call from the cops because the guy in the restaurant had to have seen it, I thought. But never did get called. Anybody looking at his car should be able to figure out what happened, my feet and door left a story.

Um, no. When you're paying for the paint on my car, I'll start thinking of it as just a car when I park it.

People have no common courtesy anymore, anybody who sees a nice car parked out away from everybody should respect that the person is going out of their own way to stay away from most people. When I see someone doing that, I park next to them with respect to the space they need. I know they're not going to put a nice door in another car. You know what? They're usually double parked too.

might be my area but i dont recall getting a noticable ding on my last 2 cars and i park em with everyone else....... granted when i bought them they had acouple very minor ones.

I have a friend with a '08 Mustang, he has stickers in his glove compartment that are a florescent green with
'Nice Parkjob, ass hole" in large black block letters-he puts them on the window of any car that parks too close. Unless the other driver has a razor blade they end up driving off with it on the window. No damage, yet payback.:D

We should have these for sale on this sight I would buy some

F**k parking a-ho's

I park out in the lot away from everyone. Came out and found some dickhead had run a shopping cart into the driver's door. Course the f**kin DILLON"S didn't have video of the parking lot- bunch of lowlife redneck losers workin' there- couldn't appreciate a car like a Mark. I'd f**kin' kill over some dick doing this if I caught him.

Few days ago, came out of a grocery store to see a cart starting to roll towards the car. I broke into full sprint and snagged the cart. I grabbed it and launched it into the cart well that was only 20ft away.

iv learn some people dont care if their car has been keyed or has dents in them so when they park close like that and i have a problem getting in or a dent i just back out and cut off a valve stem off their tire

Luckily, my dad has handicap placards and I have one of them in my car so I always park in the very front and in a van access if possible because they're even wider. A handicap person is allowed to have two of them. Sometimes I get out with a limp and sometimes not. I might be bad for doing that but I have been known to pick grocery carts up and throw them onto cars if I seen one had hit me. I think I'm better off parking in a handicap spot and keeping my piece of mind. It's not like they don't have enough of them to park in anyway or here in Alabama they have too many.

I even parked in a handicap spot at a church in Auburn, AL for my brothers wedding. I was looked at funny but my car was well away from anyone else. Bushes on one side and good distance on the other. That's what 95% of my parking spots look like where I live.

Wow Terry, you are younger/smaller than I thought.

One of my PU's is a 96 Chevy 1500. We bring it to Fla. so as to haul enough stuff for 4-5months working & living in the winter. It's still CLEAN and NICE. 141,000. I always parked it FAR OUT where we go to the movies. A couple years ago we were running late and I grabbed a space between two large oak trees that has LINES for 3 vehicles. Anybody with common sense can see that ONE OF THEM SPACES isn't quite big enough for for a third vehicle. So EVERYBODY ( I noticed over the years) just straddles two of them. Maybe a BIKE could park there. Well, I made the mistake of straddling the regular one and the tiny one. After the movie I find some douchebag had keyed my PU driver's door and left a tiny note on my door saying "learn to drive :q:q:q:q:q:q:q". Being ex military I wish I could've walked up on this guy. There's no way someone in a reg. size car could use that THIRD SPACE. I really blame the parking lot line painters. Only a DICKHEAD would put 2 lines in that space making 3 parking slots. When we go there I look at that space and 95% of the time there's one car with a second straddling the 2nd & 3rd spaces. BLUE ON BLUE PROBABLY KNOWS THAT LOT across the street from BEST BUY in REGENCY'S parking lot.
