Official LS Picture Thread

Rodewaryer: Nice photochop. I wouldn't mind having those brakes for real.

I gave the car a quick wash and wax today. I'm still amazed at how much the color changes based on the light. It'll go from a dark gray in low light to a metallic bronze in bright sunlight. I can't wait to see in once I have the time to do a full paint correction and detail.

I doubt this is what most people mean when they say they "took their car to the track."

One of these things is not like the others.

Then i couldn't live without my LS so 9 days later i picked up with 04 LSE with 32k miles from iowa. There were no good 06's for sale at the time 10/18/11.

Then on 11/11/11 there was a black 06 listed close to home that had the same mileage as the one that was just totaled so i bought it, but i regret it.. i was venerable and for some reason thought there would never be another black 06 out there... ive now decided that I'm selling this as soon as i find a loaded 06 with super low miles something under 25k miles.. i just plan on keeping the car for a long time so mileage is really important to me.. this one has 47k now..

Your car looks hot Bull!

T-money, holy crap didn't know about your first LS. Interesting LS story indeed. Wish i was that lucky lol

Rodewaryer
I really like your set up, looks sporty.

T-Money
Wow! Its best to keep the shiny side up :p You need to get some angle eyes for your next one.

For some strange reason I like the orange wheels. Wish I knew how to use my camera like you do. Belive we have the same one

hite337
Great looking first gen! Front end is done up perfect, no amber and painted grille.

T-Money you have the worst luck with these cars!!! lol

I love the black one that had the angel eyes. That's how I want my car to look eventually.

I don't care what anyone says, I love the wheels on the LS. They're a perfect match! No aftermarket necessary.

I know this thread is about the LS, but I have to give credit to my first Lincoln.. It was 15 yrs old when I bought it, and I loved it like crazy!

New to the forum

Just bought my first LS V8 after a Decade of admiring them (was looking for an '06 in Black/Drk Chrcl, but found this at a steal). Car was originally bought by an elderly lady from the same dealership I purchased it from. She had all of the maintenance done there for the last 9 years so i have it documented - she then traded it in for a new MKS. It was a 'her' car - i guess he drove a Jag. It's clean as a whistle - and I'm stoked.
Had it three days and already blacked out the grilled, buffed & waxed the car, sanded and cleared the headlights and put all four new brakes and michelins on it. K&N intake is enroute and new Flowmasters will be coming soon thereafter.

i never understood elderly ladies driving 280hp v8s lol Saw an eldely lady driving a ceramic white pearl 06 around my area the other day. Wanted to stop her and ask her to trade lol

nice car!

hite337 Is your license plate holder a factory holder? I like it.

It is not factory. I fabricated it with some 1/4" x 1" aluminum bar stock. I didnt want to pay the $40 for the factory plate holder or drill into the rarest LS bumper.

^^^^

They didn't. As much as i hate to say it, the bumpers have been switched (you know why).
Pay close attention to the bumper cover right below the grill.

EDIT: my response was directed at Rod'sLS.

Just a few pictures I took the other day because we had a nice day. Would be some nice pictures if my car was cleaner lol

I see what you mean and must have missed that this V8 now had chrome accents - the carfax says it was never in an accident and the service records show the lil'ol lady took it to the dealer on the dime regularly - even to just get wipers replaced. So it's been excellently maintained - if both bumpers had needed replaced, it would be shocking that it didn't go to the dealer or get recorded in the carfax... do you think it could have been optioned from the dealer? The paint scheme matches perfectly (even w/ the headlights out - i saw no signs of a respray). - Thoughts??
