Supercharging 98 Mark VIII LSC

The block came with a 2003 cobra oil pump and oil cooler. Will that pump be adequate? My buddy is driving me to get the parts now

That pump does not have steel gears so no.

Thanks I was searching for those part numbers. What oil pump should I run, would you mind sharing a link please.

If cams are still in heads with rocker arms on, the rockers will need to be taken off to spin cams and check for any problems. This is easy way to get rockers off with just a flat blade screwdriver. Once rockers are off you can easily spin cams to check for any binding. You can then pull main towers off and look at cam journals.

No. ARP can be used over and over. ARP use a torque # only with no degree stretch. Stock bolts are TTY.

I could not find any 2004 heads in your area. Shoot I think I posted wrong link to that 250 dollar pump its a post from 2012!!

I bet they will not part out a good running engine. Also if you buy/look at 2004 heads make sure they are 9 thread. I heard early ones can be 4 thread.
