What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

Did the seller say they were shipped? Maybe he made the shipping label saturday but the shipper hasn't picked them up yet.

Oh happy day! Just got an e-mail from Arnott. They received my defective air shock and they will be sending my new one out today!! Yay! Maybe I'll get my car back on the road this weekend:)

I can say that the whole transaction up to this point has been very pleasant and trouble free. I'm just happy that the thing started leaking while it was still under warranty.
 
started it up yesterday!!!! with strait pipes god dose it sound good. front brakes comming in today and going to get it inspected this afternoon :D

Glad the warranty return is going smoothly. She'll be back up and driving in no time.

The sound will get old and annoying. But i'm getting older, perhaps thats why.:confused:

It's wierd, I thought my car was a pos w/o muff's. Now that I put them back on after 2 years it's like driving a new car. Though I do miss hearing the motor a little.
 
im 17... the sound will never get old LMAO. i think im going to hack the mufflers off the good mk. i like the sound.
 
I liked it at first too, then it just started to sound like a beat up truck to me.
I wanted to get dynamax bullets or something to tame it down and make it more controlled for awhile. I didn't do it cause I didn't want to spend the money(I'm on a saving frenzy). I opted to just reweld the stockers back on. For now it's good.
 
I loved the way my old '96 sounded with straight pipes. IDK what the difference was, but I got no drone and it was actually quieter than my '97 with cherry bombs! Someone else is enjoying it now, though:(

Thanks! The only problem is that the replacement part won't have a new 12mo/12K mi warranty. It will fall under the original purchase warranty. Which means that if it goes out after October 30th, I'm SOL:( Oh well. At least it's new:)
 
Let's see... today, I drove around town for the heck of it and I bought a $5 walmart beside the seat cupholder. Best investment EVER!

The one that fits 2 and could go between the pass seat and center console? If so i've been thinking about picking one up cause I dont like to use the flip up. Is it snug?
 
Drove the Mark the last couple days, then last night I "accidently" ran over a Prius in my Jeep.... waiting on my Insurance adjuster to call me back... sux :(

Lol, actually it was parked in front a chinese restaurant that I had just ate at... the owner happend to be my waitress... :eek:

When I went back in and told her, she kept asking me if I wanted something else to eat and thank you have a nice day... took about 5 tries to get her outside so I could show her what I did.... Once she seen my jeep parked on the back of her car..lol, she flipped and went high octive chinese, no broken english from then on out.... Gave her my info and apoligized, my insurance agent still hasn't heard from her...told him to prepare for an interesting phone call. :shifty:

There is a restaurant/ hotel not to far from my parents house that has "Hybrid Parking Only" spots...one of these days I should get my brother and his twin turbo F-350, my dad's F-150, and my Lincoln and take pics of our rides in those parking spots.

I just can't believe you only killed ONE Prius... Go out tonight and do BETTER

I think if you're an old man (or woman) and you're about to loose your driving privileges due to "handicap", it should be your duty to wreck as many Prius' in a parking lot as you can on your final day driving
 
I put a new hood release pull thingy under the hood of my 93. Got it from the pull n pay since the yellow handle broke on mine in the wreck.
