What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

Got my leaky tire fixed yesterday. Turns out the valve stem was leaking. It's the second time in as many months that has happened to that tire. We sealed it with some black rtv this time. So hopefully it'll hold this time. Also checked all my tire pressures and equalized them all out at 40psi. I had one that had 60 in it. Don't know how the hell that happened!

Well a full week of my normal driving showed a 1 mpg increase(slighty premature) after the double plat plug's and new boot's. Went from 17.4mpg to 18.3-5. My drive consist's of 80% "city" driving so I'm fairly happy with the result's.

That's not bad. I usually get around 22-23 with mine driving 90% highway (80 miles round trip to work and back every day). The trip computer has been stuck on 20.0 for a looooong time until my wife drove it to work a couple of times and it dropped to 19.9:D I'm trying to get it back up to 20 again. Tomorrow, I'm doing my LCA's, strut rod bushings, oil filter adapter gasket, and rear shocks. Then getting an alignment Monday, hopefully.

143k..... says it right at the end.... id buy it if I had the money

I swear that wasn't there last time I read that? Band has anybody else noticed that LvC hasn't been updating them when other people post

Besides that I paid $3000 for mine with 87,000 miles on it. So I would say it's a little higher in price.

I average 25 mpg with my 96' boy I miss that thing :( I only seem to get 20 or 22 out of my 98'

The only time I ever calculated my highway mpg was on a roadtrip last year. Fully loaded on 19's I got 25.5.

Last summer I was getting 17.8~mpg, once it got colder out it dropped to 17.3-4, i'll blame that on the morning warmup's. But overall, mid 17's was my average.

Sometimes I just hate my life...Looks like I won't be doing my front suspension tomorrow after all. We ended up having to pay my stepson's auto insurance and he was two months behind and it was due today! Kids!!! They just can't manage money! And we had to buy the ball joints for his dam Honda so I can get it fixed so he can have something to drive besides my Exploder. And we had to pay for my stepson's dentist appointment where he had to have two teeth pulled because he's not on my insurance anymore because he's not in school this year (state insurance sucks). And my wife had to go to the doctor today and got prescribed a pile of medication that's gonna cost out the wazoo! So I'm stuck driving around in my squeaking, creaking car and praying to God my chinese junk ball joints don't fall out on the way home:( And we have to do the grocery run tomorrow and that'll pretty much suck what ever money we have left down the drain. I'll be lucky to have gas money to get to work Monday. I need a vacation. Or a better paying job.

Changed the oil and filter and greased the balljoints. As it turns out, my chinese junk LCA's didn't have a drop of grease in them! I used a needle fitting and filled the boots full. Drove it down the road and no squeaky! Maybe it'll hold up a little longer.

Lot's of small stuff. I'll list it all :)

Finished my upper dash panel
Secured my double din to the firewall
Filled the little void under my dd(look's fantastic)
Put my lower dash panel's back in
Put backseat in
Finished my window guide repair and put the door panel back on
Repaired my door handle cup/bezel
Started on the trunk for the 18's

Very productive day. For once everything I did went smoothly w/ 0 issues. The weather sure helped alot. Tomorrow is round 2.
