What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

Finished up the fab work on the radiator support an header panel for the ram air setup. :)
 
Just dd some more cutting to the headlight and cut an opening in the headlight for the air to flow into the cone filter.
Tomorrow more fab'n
 
You cut your headlight, for a ram air opening?? Thisll be good! Hurry up with some pics of this..
 
Actually I did it to one of my spare headlights. :)
I will have the original to keep in there for DD but the ram for shows and the track. I will have a quick connect for the extension to go into the headlight.

Is there any way to upload pics using my iPhone?
 
Yea, I use my iPhone ...just get the photobucket app (free) load pics to it, then copy the IMG code , paste it in your message box

Fixed my air ride compressor with new seals and clearing out the filter. Also added new mounts so shes quiet and pumps well. :D
 
washed waxed covered going to try to drive the truck this week and save the mark for a car show

Looked at it under the carport. Thought about working on it. Procrastinated till tomorrow.....again.
 
Thought I fixed the air ride. I did not. Ordered a new dryer.
 
Looked for parts. Talked to MMR and Power Adder Solutions. Ordered FR500s. Interesting happenings are afoot here in Albuquerque.
 
Bolted the header panel back up...going to see if we have any sheet metal,if so I'm going to us the English wheel to make a inlay for me ram air. :)
 
Did a mini detail for a small car show I am about to leave for.
 
Drove the '96 to take my son over to my parents' house. Had a cool experience on the way back. We VIII drivers are a tight knit group. On the way home, a black GEN2 LSC got behind me. When we got to the stoplight and I got in the left lane, he came up beside me, we both smiled, waved, and gave each other a thumbs up. That was pretty cool. Have a good night, we're on our way to the company Christmas party!!:D
 
well, since the girlfriend moved to Florida and we have regressed a bit relationship wise, idk whats up exactly, i'll know more when i see her the 20th, i have found myself with bunches of time and nothing to do anymore. so down to the basement where i dug out my old headlights. they're in better shape than i thought so the bro and i are going to try to freshen them up a bit.

there is some dark brown in the corners. is that from the bulb heat?
